We bought a half a dozen pastries all of which were very good we also bought some cookies which were not quite as good as the pastries but over all this is an excellent pastry shop
I can’t tell you how happy it made me today to see my little girl enjoy gluten-free cannoli, GF cookies, and GF cheesecake at Gino’s Bakery. Every bite was delicious, and for a moment, I was a kid again. They fill the cannoli's fresh on the spot.
Unless you live with this condition, it’s hard to understand how isolating it can feel to eat gluten-free —but moments like this make all the difference. Now I’m counting down the days until Thanksgiving so we can head to the Bronx and order something truly special, gluten-free. My heart is full… and so is my tummy. I highly recommend! The owners are super friendly.
Absolutely love this place. Drove from Rockland County to the Bronx and had some incredible St Joseph pastries 🍰...
Incredible pastry shop! Came here when I was in the area and the history of this place was very drool. Great Canoli as well. Make sure to bring cash unless you’re spending above $10 (that’s their credit card minimum) hoping to come back!!!
If you’re ever in the Bronx and you don’t stop at Gino’s Pastry Shop, you’re missing out on a piece of real New York history. This Arthur Avenue staple has been serving up authentic Italian pastries for decades, and it’s exactly what you want from an old-school bakery — no frills, just flavor and tradition. The cannoli? Legendary. They fill them fresh to order, and the shells are crisp, flaky perfection with creamy ricotta that tastes like it was whipped up by someone’s Nonna in the back. The sfogliatelle and lobster tails are equally iconic — sweet, buttery, and loaded with filling. Don’t sleep on the rainbow cookies either — they’re dense, almondy, and always spot-on. The shop itself is cozy, with that classic Italian-American charm. Gino and the crew treat you like family, whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth. Prices are super fair for the quality, and it’s cash-only — so come prepared. Bottom line: Gino’s isn’t just a pastry shop, it’s a Bronx institution. Worth the trip, worth the calories, and worth every bite.

I come here from time to time when I come visit my aunt here in the Bronx. They have an assortment of pastries. I did have some donuts raspberry filled, but I ate them before I took the pictures 🤦🏽♂️LMAO. Definitely a good place to satisfy your sweet tooth 💯💯
Great spot for fresh cannolis. Some of the best cannolis in New York. Met the owner and he’s a stand up guy. Ask for the dannoli next time he said, secret menu item only the locals know about
Great little spot. Cookies and Cannolis were really good.
What an amazing pastry shop! The lady at the front was so sweet and funny- mil grazie. We
bought an assortment of sweets all of which were promptly inhaled at home. The pignoli cookies were heavenly as were the cannolis. If you're in the Arthur avenue area, this pastry shop is a must.

Best cannoli and the nicest people. Can’t beat ‘em!
Yummy!
Super delicious, taste as they look 🤤😋 took two boxes 1 of cookies and 1 of mini pastries to Tom Rivers New Jersey to a friend and boy o boy did they love it. Recommend this spot for sure.
The rumors are true. Super friendly owners who chatted with me about the history. And they had just (today!) released their opening day Yankees Cannoli Cookie! So tasty, warmed chocolate chip cookie topped with cannoli cream and then further topped with a mini cannoli. Impossible to beat, and the food was all delicious
Gino's Pastry Shop & Café - A Slice of
Italian Heaven in the Bronx
Walking into Gino's Pastry Shop & Cafe is like stepping into a charming Italian cafe straight from the heart of Bari. As soon as you cross the threshold, your senses are awakened by the intoxicating aroma of freshly baked pastries, espresso, and sweet memories.
Jerome, the warm and charismatic heart of Gino's, greets you with a smile that makes you feel like family. His passion for his craft is undeniable, and it radiates throughout the shop. The walls, adorned with photos of celebrities (Can’t wait to see my picture added to the wall) who've stopped by, tell the story of a beloved neighborhood institution.
I couldn't resist taking home three exquisite Panettone to save for Easter—
* Classic - Light, fluffy, and perfectly balanced.
* Orange - A citrusy burst that melts in your mouth.
* Limoncello - Bright, zesty, and absolutely divine.
While soaking in the cozy atmosphere, I treated myself to a classic cannoli-and let me tell you, it was pure perfection. The shell was crisp, light, and had that subtle hint of cinnamon, while the filling was rich, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness.
Honestly, l'd buy the filling by the pound If I could!
But I didn't stop there...
* Lobster Tails - Both the cannoli-filled and cream-filled varieties were flaky, decadent, and absolutely indulgent.
* Sfogliatella - Layers of crisp, buttery pastry hugged a luscious, slightly sweet ricotta filling. Yum, yum, yum!
* More Cannoli - Because one is never enough!
And of course, I couldn't leave without grabbing some Torrone in all three flavors:
* Forest Fruits - A fruity, chewy delight.
* Classic - Timeless and nutty.
* French Caramel - A rich, buttery indulgence. Every bite at Gino's is a celebration of tradition and flavor. This is la migliore pasticceria italiana-the best of Italian pastry, cakes, and candies. Whether you're savoring a cannoli on-site or taking home a box (or three) of treats, Gino's guarantees that every bite will transport you straight to Italy.
If you are in the Bronx, Gino’s is a must. Don’t just visit—experience it. Sip an espresso, savor a pastry, and become part of the Gino’s family. You’ll leave with your heart full and your arms loaded with sweet treasures. 🇮🇹
