I've only placed delivery orders from this restaurant. When I say EVERYTIME I received my order something was missing or replaced with something else. There were a couple times I ordered mac & cheese and I did not get it... and you pay extra for it. Plantains!! Forget out it, you're not getting any. The last time for me was when they canceled my order because I put in the instructions for them to call me if they didn't have the sides I ordered. Don't get me wrong, the cook does an excellent job but the people who serve the food are TRASH!! 👎🏽

Food is good. But they don't answer their phone. If you reach them, someone tells you to call back *again* to speak to the manager. So you call back, and again they don't answer the phone.

This was the best Jamaican food I've ever had in my life. I've been there numerous times and have never been disappointed. The servers need better customer training, because I saw them being rude to the patrons (myself included) each time. If the food and atmosphere wasn't so phenomenal, I wouldn't travel all the way from long Island to come.

This restaurant used to be so nice and the service was always good. Now, since they’ve done renovations, the service has gone down and the food It’s not even warm when being served. Today is my last time going there. The price line does not match the food or the service.

The food here tastes amazing! It is hand-down, one of the best places for Jamaican food. There is an extensive menu and everything looks so delicious. I think the meals are reasonably priced and you'll definitely get your money's worth. The restaurant is clean, employees are nice, and the ambience gives a Jamaican vibe. This is one of my favorites places to stop or order for food when I'm in the Bronx and ready to eat something good. I'm never disappointed.

I just wanted my corn meal porridge and the ability to enjoy it but due to the lack of good customer service my experience was soured. If you want customers to keep coming back maybe the staff should be a little bit more friendly and not so rude when asked a simple question.
The atmosphere and service were the highlight of my visit. The server who helped me was wonderful—friendly, quick, and straight to the point, which I really appreciated. She made the experience feel welcoming from the moment I arrived.
Unfortunately, the food itself just isn’t what it used to be. Goldstar has definitely lost its touch. Before the renovations, the food was consistently amazing. But after the renovations, the prices shot up and the quality went down. Everything tasted off, almost like someone is adding sugar to dishes that don’t need it. The flavors just didn’t come together the way they used to.
Great service, but the food really needs improvement—especially for the price.

They treat delivery drivers as if we are beggers from off the street, its as if they don't realise that we are also working, and that the person's that order from off any which app is also a valued customer.
