I've been going to this bakery for close to thirty years so imagine how upset I was when I went to get some cookies for Christmas and they were closed. I called the number listed and was told they moved their operations to Long Island. I am TOTALLY disappointed and so sad to see them go. From the smell when you walked in to the friendly people working behind the counter, Golden Glow was always my go-to bakery even after I moved out of The Bronx. They will be missed! Sidenote: The woman on the phone said you can still buy their cookies at Scaligione Brothers Bakery on Morris Park Avenue.

This is the best place to get cookies cakes. It was a tradition in our family every Christmas and thanksgiving our family would get our treats from the cookie factory. My dad James from Demopolis Alabama was a regular there He would get his pound cake and his cookies. I'm so so sorry it's closing down. My dad and mom passed away last year. So I guess all good things never last. This family tradition with the cookie factory has passed too

It's a bakery to be in and out fast. The cookies and baked goods are delicious. The best of the best. It doesn't look like a traditional bakery but it is. There's nowhere to sit down and have a nice cup of coffee either! Parking is pretty easy on the street. The prices are worth the trip but this place is nothing special by any stretch of the imagination. It is certainly a destination place. Maybe bring the kids and have some fun and eat some cookies. Everything's delicious as I tasted as much as I could. Go buy a couple of pounds of cookies and freeze at these prices.

What better way to end our daughters wedding than with Golden Glow cookies on the Venetian table next to the coffee bar. Brought my husband and I back to the Bronx, even though the wedding was in Charlotte. They made our daughter weepy as she thought of her grandma who always bought Golden Glow Cookies and sent them to her. Thank you Golden Glow

First let me tell you that I've been going to this bakery for over 20 years. The women who work there are the sweetest, no matter how busy it is. The cookies are the freshest and the most reasonably priced in probably all of New York or even the tri-state area. If you haven't been there give them a try you won't be disappointed
