Wow they jacked up the price of the small soup. $8 to get potatoes and chicken bones. Not just that everything else is overpriced. People here in Morrisania don't even make that much. Never coming here again.

My first time visit. I spent $50 dollars! All the meals I bought the chicken wasn’t fresh very hard and tasted old? Why please don’t do that!!😤😤😤😤

Food always nasty, close to home so I give them chances but no change, food is always nasty 🤮 jumbo fried out raw inside chicken, curry goat bad taste not real goat meat plantain squeezed and badly burnt or not fried well, dumpings looks golden on the outside inside hard and not fried plus no salt just a rock. Please let’s request for this restaurant to lock down🧐nasty cooking last time I wanted soup and just looked away and catch the guy dipped the cover of the container in the curry to cover my chicken soup so it could look extra yellow. This review is for the Boston Road location on 169th street. Nasty food always !

I just came from buying breakfast akee n Salish , my dumpling are spoiled and the fish is sooooo salty that I can’t enjoy them. I use to come for breakfast all the time and it be very good this time I don’t know what happen YUCK ,i will never be back, they have lost a customer smh

The lady cashier has anger issues. She speaks to customers very poorly . I have been visiting this place for almost a year now and been very observant of her. She needs to be enrolled into anger management class and some customer service training. You cannot be the first point of contact with such a poor demeanor. On the positive side the food tastes great and I haven't had issues with all the food I have bought over the period.

1st time eating these from the frozen aisle in H-E-B Houston, TX and there was a foreign object in this patty. It resembles rubber. 1st & last time eating Jamaican food. Now I know why people say Caribbean food is trash. Nasty.

They closing time specifies 8pm however I arrived at 715 with the door locked and a women saying we are closed wiping down everything. You guys should change your closing time

My sister and I ordered a few things, from oxtail with rice, shrimps, mac and cheese, and fried chicken. Everything was delicious. The rice had a spice. I was not a fan. Coco bread with beef patty was delicious. I am usually not a fan of coco bread but serve warm it changed my mind of coco bread.

I love taking my family here. The food is amazing and love the people here. It's like seeing family everytime. Golden Krust has always been good but this is the best one.

Ms Rose is a very nice person she served me well an the food was great I try her Oats an banana porridge and her beyond Patty's they was great as will . I will be going back there an if you wants something to eat real good go there I give it 5 stars Ms Rose is still the best

My problem is that you can't call ahead, they move around at a distracted snails pace and is not cheap. Also no dine in. I'm a personal shopper and I like to get in & out quickly but this establishment doesn't allow me to do so. I have several clients who order here, so I guess it tastes good, though I have never eaten anything from here before.
