Definitely not worth it over priced and they give you so much rice and very little meats

Hidden gem, incredible charred pork

They have better food than the one on gunhill road and have better selection

I visit this Golden Krust at least twice a week, and the food is usually really good! The staff is friendly, and I always enjoy my meals here. However, yesterday I ordered a large oxtail, and it was a bit tough this time. I was disappointed since it’s one of my favorite (and priciest) dishes on the menu. Hopefully, it was just an off day because I truly enjoy coming here. Please make sure the oxtail is cooked through — I’ll definitely be back, but I’d love to see that dish back to its usual standard!

Ordered a beef patty and small rice for pick up.
Beef patty was okay but rice tasted and smelt burnt . Also came with a lot cabbage which I didn’t order which also wasn’t good .

I had the ackee and saltfish...the food was good but just had too much onion. The onions 🧅 out number the ackee 20 to 1...that just too much onions

Staff is very rude and disrespectful!! Also not very sanitary a staff member was scratching her hair with the same gloves she was getting the food for customers.

Best cornmeal porridge in the Bronx. The consistency and flavor are always on point. Hats off to the chef. The staff is always friendly. I visit this location whenever I am in the area.

Beef patties dried out overcooked! Very hot inside no air-conditioning. $8 for 2 dried out patties I could’ve bought a box at the supermarket and cooked it better myself.

I love this location! The food is delicious and the service is amazing. The ladies in there set the bar for customer service and should train the staff at the other locations on how to treat customers. I can get decent JA food from many places but come here because they are so kind. I also love the wide variety of dishes from which to choose. Way to go Allerton!

Golden Krust-White Plains Rd. Allerton is the best franchise restaurant. I was recommended 15 years ago by my friend who has since passed, I told her I did not like any Golden Krust food I had tried. I have tried Golden Krust in several boroughs and gave up. Im a soul sister, but love Caribbean food. She encouraged to try Allerton. I've been going ever since. The food quality, cleanliness, atmosphere and customer service is excellent. This is my Caribbean soul food. I appreciate the many selections that you are able to chose from. They make fresh beverages also, try that cucumber* juice. Food is always fresh and portions are excellent. Shoutout to the chefs, and whomever manages this restaurant. With everything that is going on with food now due to rising prices, meat and produce problems, it is a blessing to still be able to find quality food with sustainable pricing. I go in person and also order from Uber eats. I live farther now, but they still deliver promptly with the same good portions, and food arrives hot. Thank you again.
