First time today having lunch here. I ordered the brown stew chicken with chicken soup. The chicken was mainly bone and the parts that did have meat the chicken was so dry it was stringy. Flavorless and hard rice and peas . I did enjoy the plaintain and cabbage ; was the only two items that tasted freshly made. I wouldn't try this again or recommend. Maybe an off day ;
As for the soup. It has all the flavor š. Love the slight hint of spice and pepper with the mix of flavors from the carrot, corn potatoes and yam its delicious .

Walked in 8/4/24 1015 am guy eating and drinking behind counter pants hanging off his rear underwear exposed white pwder on them and no saltfish...not good you guys need to do better

Could be 5 stars but ya say ā we dont add cheeseā to the beef patties but advertise it , ya took the signs down in front but the tv menus display it . Yall just dont wanna cut open the patty to add cheese ya trippin that shit taste good together. Sucks i gotta go all the way uptown 215st for a patty with cheese.
This place has fallen off horribly in 2025. The Cashiers all have BAD ATTITUDES for no reason. The food is good, but their BAD ATTITUDES arenāt worth them getting your Money.
Poor service, all attitude, no customer experience, serving oxtail bones with barely any meat on it (4 pieces) for $30. Go elsewhere if you want good food with good service.
I purchas a large chicken soup this afternoon barely any chicken one dumpling
plenty of carrots few pieces of potato would preferred spinners or dumplings when I arrived home no utensils or napkins who does this that teach me from now on to check my bag before I leave the premises

This golden crust like it isn't that bad but is just too expensive
This is the only Caribbean food in the hub of parkchester, unfortunately its always a hit or miss and mostly a miss. If your getting anything other then patties, keep walking. They need a new chef. The stew chicken was awful ?
