Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant

Food is good of course it's Golden Krust but the workers are very stingy with the portions if you ask for plantains you'll get three I don't know why the workers act like the food comes out of their pocket or is going to cost them money to give you a little extra when you're spending your money but that's just the way they treat you

I was pleasantly surprised at the size of their menu. They even had roti. Mom and pop shops will struggle. The Walmart of Jamaican cuisine has moved in.

It takes one server with a nasty attitude, and a terrible experience to change the taste in your mouth for a business you’ve supported for years. Antwon is such a jerk and needs to be retrained. He’s disgusting. And the dense shift manager there with him, does not help in him growing, only a complete dis-service to him. Thanks for helping me save some money moving forward, b/c why would I drive to go spend/ support a business as such.

Please save your money I don’t buy here the cashier girl never knows what she doing keep over charging me then I try getting a coconut water she told me 10 dollars for it & the sign said 4 dollars then she said everything raise so whatever price I give u that it I try getting a Pattie these ppl wanted 5 dollar for the patties the girl kept making mistake on the cash register please get your food somewhere else just bad customer service & disgusting 🤮 food

I love going to Golden Krust for my baked goodies. I got duck bread there to make a turkey sandwich, and the sandwiches were a hit. I also love getting their mild beef patty.
They served delicious cooked food from breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Their mac n cheese and fried chicken are so good.
They have tables and chairs so you can sit and dine. I love how they keep the store clean and tidy. I highly recommend this one.

The food preparation is not authentic!! The meat smells bad, I don’t believe they wash the meat with vinegar or lime. They got Mexicans in the back cooking the food, Maggie and salt! Stick with the patties. Food is too expensive to be poor quality.

Good morning.
I purchased a fried red snapper meal on 12/4/24 around 5:40pm. The fish was done to order. Honestly the fish was so raw, no salt or pepper on it and the the fish was over fried. The fish head was really burn and dry out. I couldn't even enjoy the meal. I waited the 10min for them to fry the fish and it was not even fried good. It seems as if they didn't even bother to wash the fish in lime juice or vinegar. Golden krust i expect better from the restaurant. I will be calling the office to let them know that I was not please with that mrallast night. fish is too expensive for it to have a bad taste/smell.

As a personal policy, I do not write bad reviews and there is a lot to like about this Golden Crust store. Sadly the patties which I bought and the bun and cheese sandwich is not included in that.
The store had a very modern, clean and attractive look. The lunch display was mouth-watering and made me wish to eat from each entree. The young man at the register was polite.
However, for a restaurant that established itself as a “patty shop,” the crust was far from crispy and golden but was instead hard to bite into and the meat was not flavorful, neither the chicken or the beef.
I was visiting my mom in NYC and bought bun and cheese to take back home for my wife. It was a disappoint to observe that the cheese which looked so appetizing covered approximately half of the sandwich. If you can't trust a restaurant to provide a full slice of cheese, then what can you truly trust them with?

To whom it may concern
I am a long time patreon of this restaurant. This review is the focus on your chicken soup. It has declined in quality / taste. There has been a change made, not sure if it's in the ingredients or the cook who is preparing the soup. This change has not been abrupt. I've noticed the degradation in the quality of the soup for many months now. I wish I had given a five-star review when the soup was amazing. I hate focusing on just the negative. My course of action is to start cooking my own soup / meals. In this economy there is no way, I should be spending money, and not feeling happy, satisfied, full, after my purchase.

Not sure I'd you guys got a new cheff but the curry goat is wayyyyyy off today. Doesn't taste like curry at all. No seasoning in anything.
