The food preparation is not authentic!! The meat smells bad, I don’t believe they wash the meat with vinegar or lime. They got Mexicans in the back cooking the food, Maggie and salt! Stick with the patties. Food is too expensive to be poor quality.

Good morning.
I purchased a fried red snapper meal on 12/4/24 around 5:40pm. The fish was done to order. Honestly the fish was so raw, no salt or pepper on it and the the fish was over fried. The fish head was really burn and dry out. I couldn't even enjoy the meal. I waited the 10min for them to fry the fish and it was not even fried good. It seems as if they didn't even bother to wash the fish in lime juice or vinegar. Golden krust i expect better from the restaurant. I will be calling the office to let them know that I was not please with that mrallast night. fish is too expensive for it to have a bad taste/smell.

As a personal policy, I do not write bad reviews and there is a lot to like about this Golden Crust store. Sadly the patties which I bought and the bun and cheese sandwich is not included in that.
The store had a very modern, clean and attractive look. The lunch display was mouth-watering and made me wish to eat from each entree. The young man at the register was polite.
However, for a restaurant that established itself as a “patty shop,” the crust was far from crispy and golden but was instead hard to bite into and the meat was not flavorful, neither the chicken or the beef.
I was visiting my mom in NYC and bought bun and cheese to take back home for my wife. It was a disappoint to observe that the cheese which looked so appetizing covered approximately half of the sandwich. If you can't trust a restaurant to provide a full slice of cheese, then what can you truly trust them with?

To whom it may concern
I am a long time patreon of this restaurant. This review is the focus on your chicken soup. It has declined in quality / taste. There has been a change made, not sure if it's in the ingredients or the cook who is preparing the soup. This change has not been abrupt. I've noticed the degradation in the quality of the soup for many months now. I wish I had given a five-star review when the soup was amazing. I hate focusing on just the negative. My course of action is to start cooking my own soup / meals. In this economy there is no way, I should be spending money, and not feeling happy, satisfied, full, after my purchase.

Not sure I'd you guys got a new cheff but the curry goat is wayyyyyy off today. Doesn't taste like curry at all. No seasoning in anything.

I haven’t had a bad experience with them and hope I don’t because I would hate to find somewhere else to get that Brown Stew Fish!!! It was recommended and usually I don’t take recommendations because ppl taste buds aren’t the same but baby!!!! Golden Crust you guys didn’t disappoint on that Fish.. I don’t like nothing with eyes looking at me, I popped that head off and went to work.. Heated it up this morning and Baby!!!! It tasted like I just got it… So Good!! Get the Fish!!! 20.99 plus tax… it was good..

I went to get a curry shrimp large which is 21 and 22 cents but I didn’t have the dollar and 22 cents so I offered to go back home so I can pay for it properly. However this guy I thought was doing me a favor said he will pay for it so he took money out of the tip jar so I thanked him. But then he told me I owed him.. and wanted my number or I wasn’t going to get my food.. which felt degrading but I gave him a wrong number and as I left he laughed with his friends. You need to be more careful who you hire at this place people who work there shouldn’t be trying to make customers feel uncomfortable.. ? it was the tall guy in the front light skin guy.

The in person service is deplorable, so I tried on line to be be able to digest without attitude, and still they get the order wrong, you constantly take extra money, charge me for two island blend drinks and send reg ginger beer instead, also sent old stew chicken, with old rice and it specifically says on the receipt curry chicken, I was a regular because my wife is in a wheelchair now, unable to cook, so I curve my appetite towards my roots, Damion B. And Tihanna H. Tickets 312 and 309 7/14/24, 5:44 pm dinner was ruined, thank you again for disappointment, I’ve never felt so disgusted about a place in my life

I mean the food is tasty but the quantity is horrible whether your ordering a med or large you're given a small quantity in a big container. The servers are never pleasant...They say thats a sign of good food but I just like to feel good about spending my money...especially with inflation
