I placed this order through grubhub. I called because I couldn't write instructions. I asked them to please fry well the green bananas because they usually don't and she answered me that its already packed waiting for someone to pick up. If you want to give good customer service you open it, fry more and then staple again. She didn't even try to help or accommodate me. This used to make good food, not anymore. I won't be ordering here again..

I’ve ordered from Golden Phoenix in the Bronx a few times now and they’ve been consistently solid. The food is always fresh, hot, and flavorful. The chicken and broccoli is on point, the fried rice isn’t greasy, and their wings are actually crispy (which is rare these days).

It’s one of those dependable neighborhood spots you can count on when you just want good Chinese food. Definitely a go-to in the area.

For a small takeout business their prices are very reasonable. I have sampled much of their cooking on the combination menu and I have no complaints. I especially like their Wonton soup. It has just the right flavor that takes me back a few years. Just remember to ask how they will be cooking your food and don't assume it is cooked in any way you are thinking. Always best to ask first.

I’m an electrician currently working in the area and this is the only place I go to for lunch ! Best restaurant in the area . Served me the best sweet and sour chicken I’ve had in years and I’m very picky … I like my food fresh and this was on the money. Worth every penny.

Ordered beef with bamboo shoot and black mushroom, got beef with snow pea and carrot instead. Scallion pancake had barely any scallion. At least Grubhub refunded me.

Best Chinese food in NYC you can taste the freshness of the food. The prepare the food in front of you and cook. A lot of fortune cookies jn a box I drive far all the time just to eat there. Oh and the shrimp egg foo yun is to die for.

Yeah , don’t waste ur time .
Ordered chicken wings and fried shrimp dumplings, they used the cooked shrimp from the supermarket inside ( u know which ones I’m talking about ) and it wasn’t even fried .
Chicken wings was garbage . Tasted and looked old .

The lady on the phone/ register was very kind and helpful. It was a misunderstanding on both sides, but she rectified the situation. Overall, I had a good experience

My Husband and I ordered our food via GrubHub. I ordered the small spareribs with pork fried rice and my husband ordered Kung po chicken with brown rice. My My Husband’s order came very cold. And my ribs were burnt to a crisp.. I will never order from this restaurant ever again.

I’m gonna be real honest this is not one of those bot reviews : the food is real good long time since I had good sesame chicken and fried rice was on point! I never had good orange chicken until here.
