Always used to order from there over 100+ orders in person and on uber, when you call them they are rude. These guys over there have no hygiene or respect. what a shame

I’ve been coming to Halal Gyro King for a long time, but unfortunately, this place has been going downhill fast—and I can no longer recommend it.
To start, the staff is consistently unfriendly and grumpy. There’s no sense of customer service here. You walk in, and instead of being greeted or served with a basic level of respect, it feels like you’re bothering them just by ordering food.
One of my biggest concerns is the way they handle the food. They keep large piles of meat already cooked and stacked up on the grill. It’s hard to tell if any of it is actually fresh. It just sits there, and they scoop from that pile to serve customers. That’s not how freshly made food should look or taste.
Another issue is the pricing. If you order in person, the small chicken over rice platter is supposed to be $7. But more than once, they’ve tried to overcharge me—and when I correct them, instead of fixing it respectfully, they get visibly annoyed. And when you ask for extra meat, they’ll gladly charge you for it—but don’t expect to see any extra on your plate. It’s dishonest and frustrating.
What’s even more telling is that ever since Halal Munchies opened across the street, the difference in quality and service has become even more obvious. Gyro King isn’t keeping up, and instead of stepping up, they seem to be slipping further.
This used to be a reliable go-to spot, but not anymore. With poor customer service, questionable food practices, and pricing games, I give this place 1 out of 5 stars. Very disappointing.

Literally the best 10 dollars you can spend on a halal plate of food, i get the large mixed over rice white sauce, hot sauce and if you are brave enough get a little green sauce it is liquid fire though
Best halal food I’ve ever had! Even better than the trucks. They add a little South Asian twist to the chicken. It tastes like tandoori almost. The falafel is 10/10. Portions are huge! (Uber eats has large only). They also have a sandwich station (Blimpie) where I usually get cookies from, with my uber eats order!!
