Tried to use the restroom and was forced to make a purchase despite being an elder and having a kid with me. That needed to use the restroom. While the restroom was dirty as well. Very disappointed.

I rated a different location before, but this one is the Bronx site. The service and food here are top notch, as in Queens. Look, this is NYC and tacos are every where, you have to be really good, and Homemade Taqueria is. My son loved his chicken and pork tacos and I had the shrimp quesadilla this time around. Five stars all around.

I love this place. I normally order in person or do a online pickup. This time I did delivery & my order came and it WAS NOT good. Which is the 2nd time this happened via delivery. I ordered through Uber eats & paid $50.I ordered shrimp nachos, & chicken enchiladas & dessert. I wanted to try something different. The shrimp nachos is soooooooo salty I’m confused. & the enchiladas is dry as hell. What happened? I like they food here. I didn’t even get sauce or utensils either. The only thing good is the dessert. I called the restaurant to inform them to please check the food & taste it. Before they serve it to anyone else. It can give hypertension. The shrimp, black beans and chips are ridiculously salty. It’s really disappointing. I’m giving them one more try before I discontinue eating here.

i should’ve listened to the earlier reviews ? ordered on uber eats. delivery was fast YET, i got a container of cold beans. the birria tacos were not good at all, consome wasn’t a stew at all, just liquidy container of grease basically. also the chicken nachos were trash, how can u mess up nachos?. i spent like $35+ and it was all bad. will never be ordering from here again ?? do better restaurant.

Hands down the best Tacos I’ve had in a while, meat was full of Flavor very good. Nachos where simple but also full of flavor I ordered the two meat Nachos and honestly the meats where so full of flavor you didn’t need anymore ingredients. The pico de gallo they put on the side combined perfectly with the melted cheese and flavorful meats .

If I could give it negative stars I would! Made a huge order and asked for cheese on my tacos. Of course they did not put any when i already had ask when ordering my food. I ask if i can pay for a small cup of cheese which I’m able to purchase at every Mexican restaurant I go to. I’m told rudely by the female in front they do not sell the cheese to give her back my order so they can add my cheese. I told her forget it and left. I spent so much money on my order but couldn’t get a small cup of cheese but you easily took my money. I went to another restaurant where I’ve always get amazing service and purchased the cheese and sauces there.The nachos were bland with no flavors. Tacos were okay. The consomé was watery and had no flavor, and beans were salty. Wanted to give this place a shot because the food look great but was definitely disappointed with the food and rude service.If your willing to travel definitely check out Taqueria El Chiltepin in Castlehill! Best Mexican spot in the bronx! Everything made fresh and so much flavor!
