The food is very tasty. The staff is nice. I went for happy hour and the drinks were not watered down. We enjoyed everything.

Amazing food. I’ve been here a couple of times since they’ve opened and I wasn’t impressed prior. I made my way in there yesterday evening and I was greeted promptly. I was then given some delicious chips (shrimp chips). After receiving my beautiful looking drinks, my boil came out steaming with snow crab and shrimp cooked to perfection. Great way to spend my Sunday. Wonderful music also !!

Haven’t eaten yet to leave a better review so I will edit but upon arrival we had to seat ourselves on the waiting booth because two employees saw us waiting but proceeded to walk to avoid the door. We were told to wait so they could clean a table for us? After looking around I noticed SEVERAL dirty tables and they were literally by the windows so if I would have been looking they the glass as I approached it was obvious about 5 tables needed cleaning (pictures included. NO ONE HAS COME TO THE GUEST STAND since we arrived at it’s been a full 15 minutes upon arrival. The MOD (not sure he just was dressed more casual than others) assured us a table was being cleaned and we would be sat soon and proceeded to disappear to the back again. Will update once this other customer who has been waiting as well went to find someone in charge to find out why no one is helping the customers.Edit: we have just sat down but after waiting twenty minutes to even be acknowledged properly to sitting in the back alone is now becoming a nuisance but I really want to try their food and not resort to the food court.

My friend and I went there on a Monday afternoon, we were the only diners there. The server was rude and the place was dirty. They put us at a table that had crumbs on the table and seats, we asked to be moved. They did move us. Sitting there looking around you could see crumbs all over the floor, seats and tables. Juice stains on the seats. The place was literally empty, so my question is when do they clean???The food was good but I'll never visit this location again.

I wasn't expecting to love this place right if the bat but this place exceeded my expectations. We went late in to the evening and the food was so good! Our serve Elise (girl i pray this your name) was so nice to us too. The drinks are STRONG. But what one me over is that the headless shrimp were butterflies open and deveined. I can't stand p*** shrimp and it is an immediate turn off for me when eating. There is an option to get a bag with one main and 1 pound of two options. Unless you are starving i don't recommend getting that one it is on the pricey side like the boil for that option but is worth it too.

Second location I've tried and the food was consistently good. The ambience and service was also good. Only thing missing was hand wipes at the table.

I came to Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood in bay plaza mall. The General manger Ashely is very friendly respectful and had so many great ideas for the restaurant. The food is great and the waitress was beautiful and sweet. Thank you Ashely keep up the good work!

First time try and was not disappointed. Decoration was cute and our waiter (Brian) so nice too. The coconut fried was interesting. The spaghetti and mussels were ok. The shrimp tasted fresh and the sauce was so good. Will come back and try others kinds.

I had a wonderful time here . Food and drinks was amazing. Service was great! Omg Sammy was awesome very attentive! Everyone was very welcoming at the bay plaza location !

Let me start this review by saying, I love the Hook n Reel location at Bay Plaza because their food is always well-seasoned and their music is bumping! However, they get 3-stars because their customer service is terrible. They will have you waiting extremely long to be seated even though there are staff walking around seeing you wait, then when you’re seated they took a long time to come around and check in, and finally there have been times I’ve ordered drinks and unfortunately they never made it to my table. If they improved the quality of staff working there or conduct more customer services skills they would get 5-stars.

I'm a seafood fan ? so i wanted to try this restaurant, i ordered 1lb of shrimp and they have a bogo offer so i got 2lbs for the price of 1, it was delicious, my only complaint is that they served this with just a small piece of corn and 2 small boiled potatos, i have to order crab french fries to eat with the shrimps. The service was kind of slow, they have only one waitress for the side i was, so she couldn't handle everything by herself.

I was served here and I had to come back and make this review. I believe that Waitress Laurie B is an outstanding waitress who’s service is impeccable. She is very attentive, polite and quick on her feet. She has very good communication skills and I can’t forget to mention her service is quicker than most places I’ve been to. I recommend!

Had birthday lunch here with my BFF. Service was excellent and the food was amazing. Haven't enjoyed food I didn't make myself this much in years. Have been singing their praises ever since. Definitely will be going to this restaurant again. If you are a seafood lover this is a must for you.

First of all I want to say I was craving a seafood boil for months and couldn’t decide where to go and this place exceeded my expectations. The portions are amazing the sauce was so good we are all obsessed with this place now . My daughter said this is the best seafood she’s ever had I never cared for crab legs but this place changed my mind . We have been eating once a week from here since we can’t get enough . Also want to say that there was a very minor issue with my order and the manager Julio went out of his way to accommodate and fix the small discrepancy. I can’t say enough good things about this place . I am not one to leave reviews but I have to give credit when credit is due . Try this place you won’t be disappointed . Five stars isn’t enough .
