Visiting family in NY and we decided to stop off at the botanical gardens grill. Very disappointing food options. For a place that is meant to attract visitors and tourists of all ages, they really should offer more for all types of people. The atmosphere isn’t all that welcoming or friendly either. Clearly not meant for regular folks. Way over priced!

Lovely spot in the garden for lunch. The service was good and food was good overall. We were surprised how the portions more main entree pastas felt a bit small but starters and desserts were larger. It’s good for a sit down meal with lots of light in the main room. We did not need a reservation mid-afternoon.

This is a beautiful and relaxing spot for lunch. Lots of vegan options, which was great, but unfortunately also lots of oil in the food, which made it much less tasty. Prices are high, but since it's the only restaurant and so pretty, its sort of worth it.

We always enjoy the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Cobb salad, although sometimes the portions vary. It was better this time!

My husband and I dined here after visiting the train show and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was very good and the food items were interesting. We each had one of their specialty drinks which were very enjoyable. We also had a fall burrata as an appetizer and that was excellent. I had the mushroom rigatoni and my husband had the salmon. I felt as though the rigatoni could have used just a bit of salt or more flavor to the dish. My husband enjoyed the salmon but said he didn't really care for the other items in the dish. Overall, the atmosphere was really lovely and we will be coming back in the future to try other items.
I'm a big fan of the Hudson Garden Grill, however my last visit was very disappointing. The children's grilled cheese was cold. The cheese was not melted. I ordered a burger and it was also room temperature, at best with no flavor.

Tables are well spaced in the noise level is good views from the window were lovely. I ordered the Hudson burger and while it was good it is very hard to eat neatly. It's just big and tall and the dressing keeps oozing out.

A moderate size simple menu. Service was friendly and attentive. Our friend's squash dish was a bit tough to eat and separate the flesh from the skin. The seafood dish was tasty with a little kick to it. I had to ask for a dish for the shells. The rigatoni was prepared nicely and tasty. The veggie burger was messy with the veggies falling out as you took a bit of it.
