Hugo's Gourmet is a place like no other. They welcome you with respect and warmth. So many options to choose from their Menu, and if you don't see something, they will make it for you. What i like most is everything is made to order (yes there's a waiting time) but I prefer freshly made over something seating there for hours and being toss into a microwave. Also, the cooks are friendly and clean the kitchen on a daily basis (not to many businesses do that)They treat you like family and I will miss this place.
This is my go-to neighborhood spot. So far I have only tried their bacon egg and cheese and chicken quesadilla it is ALWAYS on point! Will be trying a lot more stuff on their menu as their place is very clean and food is fresh. Def recommend.

This place has the best bacon, egg and cheese on a roll in the neighborhood. It was so good that I have tried a number of different dishes over the last couple of weeks. The pancakes are superb. The the chicken Gyro was pretty good. The empanadas have a great crust and a unique filling. And the french fries are quite yummy.Some folks mention that it is a bit pricey. Maybe relative to a bodega, but it is cheaper than a restaurant. I think the quality is worth it.

The store owners husband, a guy who’s got a bald head, shorter gentleman. He’s very , very rude. I work near by and he threatened to fight one of my co workers over a very small reason. When my co worker called the store the next day to speak to his wife, she said her husband is indeed “crazy” and sounded like she was bragging but apologized. Their store prices are over priced, they charged me $4 extra to add avocados to a burrito that was already $16…. Remind you, this burrito isn’t even 6 inches, On top of that my other co workers buy stuff from this store and we notice that they charge us all different prices for the same things…. The shorter bald headed gentleman was also bragging to one of my co workers how he has a million dollar house after all she did was ask for an ATM….

The foods good, but the guy there is rude to his customers and theres only one guy on the grill, making your sandwiches take 10-20 minutes.
