I own a business in the area and paid $1500++ for a catered event when my son was baptised. Trying to keep money in the community, with a fellow minority business that moved in the area. A new business typically tries to do the right thing. But not these clowns. Not only are they clueless to catering, but they arrived AN HOUR LATE, forgot the proper pans to hold water for sternos, and left me with $1500 of food that got cold immediately after the owner left. They dripped curry everywhere in my building floor because they had improper carry containers, stained my lobby table with curry, and even hadmy nanny helping then set up because they had NO IDEA WHAT TO DO. Each pan was so poorly wrapped it was a trail of oil everywhere on our clothes. Awful. DO NOT GET ANYTHING CATERED FROM THESE PEOPLE. After acknowledging it was wrong, i tried to get a barter instead of money back,..and they never responded. Don't bother going here. Food is good but they must be first time owners. They are devoid of service recovery. They're way over-priced....DON'T BOTHER. I've been telling everyone about my experience...AND I HAVE PICTURES

I was hesitating to eat from this Restaurant due to the reviews I encountered ..... So happy I went against my better judgement and gave it a visit ...The place is $potless clean top to bottem.....Food is correct...:apparently this Restaurant caught the bad reviews of the previous owners & Management...Island Buzz is New Fresh & Beautiful....I live on cruger ave I’m there everyday...I met my future wife there as well (KATE)....GOOD RESTAURANT GREAT FOOD PROFESSIONAL SWEET STAFF

I’ve lived in the Bronx, Queens, Manhattan and Brooklyn. This is the best Jamaican restaurant, everything fresh and tasty. A bit pricey but for sure worth it!

Their beef patties are made from scratch and are like pillows. It isn’t like a processed pizzeria one where it is hard on the edges. The J*** chicken is worth it along with their rice. Worth every penny and every bite.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!l i spent 40 $ on two plates of oxtails wow what a disappointment pure FAT ! Never Again . The place is on Holland and Lydig ave shame on these rude boys!!!!!!!!!
