Staff wasn't unfriendly but uninterested.The display cases where the cakes are placed should be cleaned from time to time, as you can see mold from the outside.I wouldn't eat here.There's a better deli a block away.

They don't do any refunds on orders if you cancel on an event for the reason of covid.instead they give half of credit and give a smaller cake that was given with horrible writing. As for the credit every time I come get a small mean to cover my credit the prices changes all the time. This place is funny. I go some where else.

Bacon eggs and home fries platter is excellent. Decent prices and the cakes are delicous.
The staff there got so much attitude they will treat you like you’re not paying for what you are ordering and I order a cake for my grandpa and the hand writing was so horrible at least the cake wasn’t bad

One of the very few bakeries serving excellence on Westchester ave. They have a wide variety of pastries, sandwiches, cakes, personal deserts, coffee; made a plethora of ways. You can even pre order larger orders of mixed or specific pastries and sandwiches. Obviously call ahead if you have a big order. The owner is always visible, and yet you probably won’t recognize him unless you know he’s the owner. Super humble and extremely hard working individual. If he’s not in the kitchen, then he’s usually behind the counter helping out during a rush. The only downside would probably have to be the limited seating. That said they do offer 6 double seaters. This would have to be my number one place to get the absolute BEST Cuban sandwich and mini Guayaba pastelitos..a truly LATIN AMERICAN GEM ?
