This place has the worst Trinidadian food ever I don’t know who is eating this crap, but this is not Trini food. I’m Trinidadian and I don’t even buy from this place, first of all I sent someone there who was visiting from far away to get doubles and they serve them the channa from the Channa and aloo in their doubles. There was no separate Channa for the doubles. And the other foods are not that great either I don’t understand why these people are still there. They are wasting people time and money.

Food was fresh and fast service! Duck curry was very tasty and not watery. Thick gravy perfect for the buss up shot.

I had been searching for a good restaurant to buy chicken roti. But, unfortunately the roti was not good at all. The chicken with the bone was NOT COOKED thoroughly and the curry sauce along with the chick peas did NOT have a nice flavor. Also, the HUGE ROTI was not necessary because of the medium size portion that was put into the roti. So, I will have to continue my search. I was VERY DISSAPPOINTED!!!

I was very disappointed with my curry goat roti I ordered curry goat and I got curry goat mixed with beef steak. It was like a soup instead of stew The roti weird I asked for pepper tamarind and mango sauce, I didn’t get either of them. I have ordered from here a total of three times and every time it a disappointment. Sorry to say I will never eat from here again.

Ordered the beef roti and doubles via grub hub. The beef roti w/curry had no curry at all. It tasted like beef boiled in water, no seasonings whatsoever. The dhal was burnt. The doubles, well I can’t truly describe them as “doubles”. No Chana (chickpeas) but a floury paste rolled in a roti skin with no flavor just an unforgiving taste in the mouth. It would have been better to use chickpeas even if it were a smaller bite. This is my first order from Jenny’s and will definitely be my last. Extremely disappointed in this food that claims to be Indian / Trini. If you claim this ethnic group, then present the flavors of this community. Very letdown indeed.

I have eaten here numerous times over the years and I have never had a bad experience. I love that I am able to get such great Trini food in the Bronx and not have to go all the way to Brooklyn or Queens.

I ordered their curry goat with buss up shot with the different sauces: Tamarind, Mango Chutney, and Pepper sauce. I've had curry goat at other establishments. What I got from this restaurant was a watery type of soup with what seemed to be beef with small pieces of goat meat here and there. This soup did not taste good! The only thing I could manage to eat was the roti. Such a disappointment. I hate leaving bad reviews, but if you're a restaurant...your number 1 job is making sure you provide quality good tasting food. Won't be ordering from here again.
