First time ordering from this place, I kept it safe by ordering jerk chicken. It was not jerk chicken. The flavor wasn't there. The rice was ok, and the cabbage wasn't flavorful either. For this to be a Caribbean restaurant, I'm highly disappointed. First/last time. I wish them the best, though.

Horrible jerk pork! Meat was tough/old, way overdone, and seasoning was artificial tasting. Rice was very basic. Mac n cheese was tolerable. Will never go back.

The food was so good , I think I want to marry the chef. Lol I had the ackee and codfish with fried dumplings lawd Jesus so delicious. The Patty's & CoCo bread are the best in Bronx!!!! The j*** pork was????

This was the nasty food I ever had. No seasoning, goat was very tuff curry chicken had no flavor to it. The food was so bland it was a waste of my money never again

Omg I had their oxtails I came back for more but they were closed I’ll try again today but it was sooooo good !! Best I’ve had so far that taste like my granny’s flavas

Fried chicken was delicious along with the mac n cheese. Jerk chicken could have been spicier.

They give you more than rice than what u actually paying for which is the oxtails.Then the oxtails are not really soft and tender.They were a little tough..I been going to the restaurant for the last 5 years and the food use to be better...Also I must say they are very polite to their costumers.

I was very pleasantly please with the service and delivery of my order from Johnny's Bakery and Restaurant. My order was delivered really fast and piping hot. I ordered the oxtails, curried chicken, mac and cheese, cabbage and rice and peas. All of it was yummy! Honestly, its much better than Golden Crust. Now that's what I call service and with a smile. This is especially important since all of us are forced to stay inside because of the pandemic. Johnny's restaurant has the best tasting caribbean food in the area. I recommend you give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.
