I was in the Bronx with my mother for a funeral. We were early so we decided to get some coffee. On Westchester Ave, we were expecting only a Dunkin Donuts but I was in the mood for a diner. I didn't think I'd find one but lo and behold, I looked up and there was a diner sign across the street from the Dunkin Donuts. Clean tables, counters, and restrooms. Attentive and polite staff. And good food! According to the menu the prices are for cash transactions. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and my companion ordered a grilled chicken wrap. With beverages, tax, and tip the cost was $35. There’s no street parking but we found a spot around the corner. I would definitely go there again. With cash.
