I passed this place in 10th grade all the time and never had time to stop. Took me 10 years, but I got a large pepper steak recently to cheer me up. My new go to place for comfort food!!

I really love this restaurant, I’ve been coming here for a long time. But please when we order on Ubereats and we ask for gravy, please give us gravy. I’m not sure who made my order today but there’s no gravy on my food. Rice and peas is a dry rice and cannot be eaten without gravy. Please and thank you.

Best food Ive had here in The Bx so far. Ive tried different cuisines, different spots and they're all a disappointment, a waste of my $$. I finally found a spot with amazing food! I should've ordered from here as soon I found them, but the ratings here made me rlly hesitant. Im honestly surprised they're not 4.5-5/5 stars. Maybe their best meal is stew chicken w/ rice & peas, idk. Also, this is the 1st time Ive had plantains that I enjoy at a Jamaican spot and that says a lot lol. But Im so grateful I finally ordered from this spot cause it's been tough staying out here in an Airbnb.

Medium oxtail dish is actually a small. I get cutting corners for profit, but for a small $21 oxtail dish, i should get more than 7-8 pieces of oxtails. The meat had no flavor but it was very tender. For the money i paid, i had high hopes that they would at least put their foot in the dish. I didnt get why they were so cheap with the cabbage, i mean its the cheapest thing in the order. I also got a side of candied yams. What do they cook it in??? Strange flavor and it tasted kinda tough like the skin wasnt properly removed or something. I tried the porridge today it was oats,banana, and cornmeal, it didnt taste good and left me with a bad aftertaste.

I ordered the Chicken soup which was full of flavor and hearty, and Pepper Steak for my daughter. Food is a 9 out of 10 I ordered through Door Dash but I will be dropping in soon to try more items since they are not too far from me.
This is the worst restaurant in the Bronx! The food is absolutely terrible. Their oxtails are loaded with fat and less meat than you’d expect, and they only serve four pieces! The attitude of the workers is equally disgusting. To top it off, many of their dishes are left overnight and sold the next day. I wish I could give this place a zero-star rating!
