Very good food, my wife and I ordered the fried rice and general t’so shrimp and it did not disappoint. We had some rolls as well, an order of California and a spicy tuna which was delicious. I think the portion of shrimp could have been 2 more but I understand.

So I usually eat here, but the last time I went I was sat at what appeared to be a clean table all the way in the back close to the kitchen and sushi bar. The table appeared clean when I looked down there was roaches crawling around a dead water bug under the table and a bunch of food like swept in the corner under the table . It was kind of nasty and honestly, if it looked like that at a table that we were being sat at , I can only imagine what’s going on in the kitchen where people cannot see. So I won’t be returning here unfortunately

Update As I have said, I love this place, but I do have a message to Kai, your take out food should be as good as or maybe even better than what we get when we are sitting in your restaurant. We have been ordering your takeout ? and it has been getting worse every time. Please remember we are the same people that sit in your restaurant and the food should be the same !!! Please do better with your takeout.

Visited NYC for a few weeks with my friends and went to Kai for some sushi and we were so impressed on how it arrived. It was super organized and fresh my girlfriends and I loved it. We're definitely going to dine in before our flight back to Europe.
Absolutely delicious. The quality of the ingredients and the care is just another level. Our family and friends finished this entire platter and other dishes in one meal. Price point is very very fair compare to other restaurants who jacked up prices over the years and reduced the quality/quantity but Kai has always been generous and takes care of their people.

Went to Kai Today and this is what I found when I get home to eat my food. I made the restaurant aware he gave me a full refund and said sorry. I can't believe this they need to Crack down on these places and make sure they are clean. We are spending our money to try and support our local small businesses and this is the quality we get how nasty.

Today I ordered 3 orders of Shrimp tempera rolls, it cost $27 dollars when on the online menu it was $7.50 and when I get there it’s $8.50? They need to Change their menu. Now when I went there, I ordered the same order of Shrimp tempura rolls, I never reviewed the same item. We didn’t check the food because we were going to run errands. Whoever is staff working there, get yourself up.
