Today my family and I went to Koi sushi in the bay plaza mall. We had the WORST experience. The customer service was HORRIBLE as the waitress that served us was RUDE and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. After waiting for a long time for my husband’s order, we decided to cancel it. When approached by the waitress to cancel the order, she initially told my husband that it could not be cancelled. She was EXTREMELY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL yelling at us at the top of her lungs that “this time the customer was wrong.” Even when her manager/owner of the restaurant came out, she was still yelling. We just wanted to cancel the order because of the long wait. Eventually, another waitress cancelled his order and we left. I would NOT recommend dining there if you want a GREAT dining experience with good customer service.I WOULD RATE THIS PLACE WITH ALL ZEROS IF I COULD.

The worst decision of my life was to stop at this place for lunch, the treatment of the staff is terrible. They sent me to the table a change in the order adding things in my order that I did not ask for, I called the attention to the waitress indicating that that was not what I had ordered who told me that there was no problem that she was talking to a person who took the order. When it was time to pay, she passed me an invoice for the complete order to which I told her again that that was not what she had ordered to which she answered you touched it and you have to pay it. This being the same waitress who had told him that this was not what he had ordered. I took the remaining food out of the trash so that she could see that I had not eaten it to that point I had to get to what she made a call and discounted what she understood that she had not eaten me even charging me for the other things that I did not order in conclusion not only the terrible service but that they are thieves and scammers being I imagine that this type of practice must be common because of the impolite and arrogant way they use.

TERRIBLER TERRIBLEE service. My son & I entered into the restaurant, we were NOT greeted. I had to flag a server down to ask if we can sit anywhere. They said “yes.” So my so. & I decided to browse the menu (this was our first time here) & waited to be acknowledged by someone to order food and figure out how it works. This place was not busy, there were maybe 6-10 other customers that were already seated and being serviced. As I was patiently waiting to order I kept making eye contact with a server who was helping 2 ladies sitting close to us. after some time I flagged someone down her name is “Crystal” & began to ask her why weren’t we greeted or serviced. She mumbled something under her breath & before I was about to order I asked her what did she say, she proceeded to say “someone said something to you when you came so you were greeted” in a nasty tone. I then told her why weren’t we being serviced. She told me “I had to raise a hand” (again keep in mind it was NOT busy & I have never had to flag a server down for service unless it was busy, or I needed my bill or something. Whole interaction was TERRIBLE. They were unnecessarily rude! DO NOT EAT HERE !

It was my first time at the restaurant. It was not crowded during the weekday. I ordered the Koi sushi 8 piece and it was delicious. The mango added gave it a nice contrast sweet n savory. I also had a Kani salad that was very fresh & I truly enjoyed it. My food was delivered to my seat via a cute train which I enjoyed. The revolving belt was not used since they were not too many people but they use it on the weekends.
I also ordered 2 onigiri to go and I had them for dinner. They were delicious but is best to eat right away since the nori can get soft. The girl working at the cash register was nice & very accommodating. I had a pleasant experience and I will definitely return.

Customer service is not great. No smiling faces to greet you. The tables are dirty, the turn table is dirty, the little train that bring your orders out is super dirty. See the Picture. Yeah I definitely will not go back. The hand roll orders are not too bad. Looked okay. But I'm surprised they have an A rating....

I went here for the first time to have lunch with my husband and daughter. The ambiance was nice, and the place was clean. The young lady that catered to us was very polite. I love how the food comes out on the revolving track. I would definitely go back. I honestly don't remember everything we ordered, but it was delicious. We had the bento box, wings, saski, sushi, and Japanese soda. We spent about $80-100. It was worth every penny.

Food was good, the eel avocado roll was great though as well as the spicy tuny. The sushi on the conveyor belt was very limited and the same things kept going around.
PLEASE Be aware that this place automatically charges gratuity and asks for more tips even if you just sat there and take sushi from a conveyor belt and did not interact with the “waitresses” at all. They did not even serve us water when we sat down which is the basics of customer service.
When we got up to pay we were greeted by three ladies behind the counter who were just talking among themselves and barely paying attention to us. This place should definitely not include gratuity in their charge specially without asking for consent to the customers, it was only two of us. The palce was also dusty as well. We never ordered from the waitress which is the point of eating sushi from the conveyor belt. It was definitely a weird practice to automatically include gratuity specially because it was just a party of two.

I recently visited this sushi restaurant with my two kids, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing due to the service. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were overlooked. The waitress didn't even ask if we wanted drinks when we were seated, which is usually a standard part of the dining experience.
After waiting for a while, I had to alert her just to place our food order, which should have been a straightforward process. Even after that, it took another nudge from me to finally get our drinks. Meanwhile, I noticed that she was attentive to other tables around us, which made the neglect we felt even more pronounced.
It's disheartening when the service doesn't match the quality of the food, and in this case, it really overshadowed the meal. I hoped for a more welcoming atmosphere, especially dining with my kids. The lack of attention and care made our visit less enjoyable, and I doubt we'll be returning anytime soon unless there’s a significant change in their service approach.

Worst restaurant and terrible customer service. My friend and I went for the first time and we were confused and none of the people working there helped us properly instead they made fun of us and started making comments. Improve your customer service first. Never in my life! I will come back here and will never recommend it!!!! BAD BAD

Underwhelming. I was really excited to go because I thought it would be like the other spots that pump out sushi on the revolving table and you grab as you please. They must not have enough business for that. The space is very small, service is poor and out of what I ordered, I only really enjoyed one thing which was the poke bowl. The pan fried pork buns were obviously the frozen store bought kind (I’ve purchased the very same before in Asian markets). They were doused in too much oil and not properly cooked. The Thai chili fried chicken also tasted like frozen breaded chicken doused in a very liquidy sauce. The salad dressing they use is not the standard ginger dressing you always find at Japanese restaurants. I really wanted to like this place but it’s more of a hole in the wall quick eats and not really a great dining experience.

Food was pretty decent. The seafood items tasted really fishy however and I had to have sauce on the side to cut through the taste. Staff was in their own world but definitely helped quickly when asked. Cool little train but thats about it.

Small place. No real atmosphere. Staff not attentive. Food ok, nothing really to write home about. Cheese cake was served frozen. Overall, not worth it.
