⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ La Casa de Frida in the Bronx (307 E 204th St) is truly an unforgettable experience and easily one of my favorite spots in the city. From the moment you walk in, you can feel how dedicated the entire team is to making sure every guest has not just a great time, but the best experience possible. Whether you’re in the mood for fun music, karaoke, or a relaxed, chill night, La Casa de Frida truly offers something for everyone.
The food and drinks are a huge highlight. They’re especially known for their margaritas, which are always perfectly crafted. My personal favorite is the mezcalita—smooth, smoky, and full of flavor. Even if margaritas aren’t your thing, there are plenty of other options available. The Old Fashioned is another one of my go-to drinks and is always made just right. The bartenders clearly take pride in what they do, and it shows in every drink.
This is also the perfect place for a girls’ night out. The vibe, the music, the drinks, and the energy make it ideal for celebrating, laughing, and having an unforgettable night. The Frida-inspired décor is absolutely beautiful, and they go all out with decorations—not just every day, but for every occasion. Whether it’s a holiday, a theme night, or a special celebration, the space is always decorated in a way that makes it feel festive and special.
La Casa de Frida is also amazing for larger groups. They offer company buyouts and can cater to big parties, making it a perfect spot for corporate events, group celebrations, and special occasions. They truly know how to host a party, and birthdays are clearly their favorite occasion to celebrate. When I went to celebrate my own birthday, they made me feel like I had booked a full private party—even though it was just a regular night. The staff and even the customers were so kind and welcoming, and the love I felt that night was unreal. It was honestly the best birthday experience, and I highly recommend celebrating your birthday at Frida.
They open at 2 PM, have happy hour from 3 PM to 8 PM, and even offer a happy hour lunch menu, which makes it a great spot any time of day. Between the food, drinks, atmosphere, staff, and overall energy, La Casa de Frida is a place you’ll want to come back to again and again. 💃🏽🍹🎉

I went there with my daughter, she love this place, it was my first time there. The food was very good and tasteful. I had grill pork chops black beans and white rice. I am plain Jane I don’t need alot of seasoning. I was impressed that the owner was taking care of us at the bar. I do not speak Spanish she even put on English videos. I love it.

Well last night was not very pleasant, I went with my 11 year old daughter to buy a taco since there was no one there and the music was not that loud, we decided to eat at the restaurant, I ordered a “jara” in confusion with another drink that I like, when I saw the waitress with that “jara so big” I said “honey that is not the drink” to which she spoke to me so badly and in a raised tone and stepped on the menu in my face, she did not respect that my daughter was there, she told me that was what I ordered and I responded very politely that I would pay for it but I did not want it and she spoke to me again rudely and said that it was already on the computer and she could not remove it, I said perfect I will pay for it but now please I want to take my food I do not want to stay here anymore, in short she had no empathy she was rude and did not respect my daughter. His face looked very angry and I think that is not a way to treat people, especially in front of children.

I wish I could give zero stars for the service. Let me start by saying I USED to love this place. The food is amazing and the drinks delicious. It was my boyfriend and mine go to place in the neighborhood. We loved it so much we named our cat Frida after it.
I’m not sure if there’s new owners but the last two visits have been terrible. And we will not return. Our service clearly doesn’t matter but I needed to get this off my chest.
We went in February. Waited almost an hour for drinks, we asked the waiter twice and he kept saying it’s coming and it never did. Another customer walked in and they took his order and brought him his drink. I spoke to manager she apologized brought the drinks and comped them. But it was already a waste because we were done eating.
Today we walked in and sat at the bar. We were not greeted and not acknowledged. Another couple walked in and they were sat and given menus. The terrible service is not only unacceptable but also disappointing.
We will never return here.
