Awful ! I waited 20 minutes for a glass of wine ?, and they didn't offer me two pitchers or the food menu, minus napkins for $150 dollars. And they charge tips as if they really took good care of you,

I was pretty satisfied with my experience at this establishment. The food was decent, and the service was pretty good. I was happy that their Quesadillas come with fries, that is my favorite side and was the selling point of me ordering that. The Quesadilla was pretty good, just could have had a little more cheese. The meat was pretty good as well, and I definitely did not have any issue finishing my meal. I would have also liked to see a little more fries on the side, but what I had did taste good. I was pretty impressed with the drink menu since they seemed to have quite the selection. On the other hand, the food options were not too great; this is clarified as the menu states it is incomplete. The chips were also a bit dry, and the salsa tasted like it was from a can. This is not a big deal since the chips and salsa were just the bread of the table anyway, but something to point out. I ordered a soda with my meal and they brought out a can; in a restaurant's language that means no free refills on the soda. I can not stress enough how much something like this affects the experience. I was rationing my soda throughout my meal since I did not want to pay for can after can, and it just could have been better. Adding free soda refills would go a long way for me, but I doubt soda on the priority list. I would consider coming back here if in the area again.

La Casa de Frida emerges as a stellar happy hour destination, perfect for those seeking a swift libation. Boasting two distinct happy hour specials--running from 12 to 5 and another from 5 to 7--the spot delivers not only variety but also affordability. While the drink specials shine, the culinary offerings fall short of the happy hour pricing ethos, presenting full-priced wings, quesadillas, and tacos. Despite this culinary mismatch, the prospect of returning solely for the libations remains alluring. La Casa de Frida excels in crafting drinks that tantalize the taste buds, promising a delightful journey to tipsiness by the third round.Noteworthy is the commendable service; during our visit, my companion and I decided to explore a special $30 shot of Patron Alto, intrigued by its novelty. To our surprise, the establishment went above and beyond by generously gifting us another expensive shot on the house, acknowledging our curiosity and enhancing our overall experience. This gesture adds an extra layer of satisfaction to the visit, creating a positive memory that encourages a return for both the drinks and the exceptional service.

I was surprised by how pretty the ambiance was for an intimate conversation. The portraits of Frida made me feel like I was transported back to Mexico City. The food was delicious and the service was efficient. I enjoyed the large portion size for the vegetable quesadilla and the guacamole. Make sure you ask for the spicy green and red sauce that adds a spicy flavor to the food and makes for a more authentic Mexican experience! I left here very full and wanting to comeback. Thank you.

Came in a little late after work on Saturday and had a great time! The place wasn't packed and to our luck it was Karaoke night. They were able to quickly accommodate our party of five and our waitress was super friendly. The drinks were very good, we had the mangonada margaritas and the portions were huge. The small frozen margaritas were also quite good as well! Sadly the kitchen had closed when we arrived and couldn't try the food, but our incredible waitress was still accommodating enough to get us chips and guacamole. Will definitely be back!

Pretty good spot. I agree with others, this is NOT authentic Mexican, this is a Dominican restaurant serving Mexican dishes. I ordered the chicken nachos and the steak tacos. The steak tacos were good but not great, nothing to post a billboard about. The chicken nachos were packed but flavorless! The chicken had no flavor--I was surprised considering this is a Dominican joint--at bare minimum, I expected the food to be flavorful. I threw away majority of the nachos; the taco filling is good but overall the shell is a corn tortilla which tastes like crap. I'm not sure I would give them another shot. The servers are a little mediocre. I called in and placed my order: when I got there, the first hostess/bartender didn't even bother to hear what I was saying and waves me off; thankfully another young lady came in and over heard me saying "but I just placed the order by phone." She helped me with my order and sent me on my way. The food being mediocre is one thing but that little bartender that only listens if you speak Spanish is what makes me not want to return, and just as a heads up...I may look like a "Black Gringo", but I completely and fluently speak and understand Spanish. I am not fond of places with service like this..thank goodness to the other young lady that stepped in andhandled my order, because it was about to be "Voy a tomar mi dinero por la calle."2 stars just for the young waitress!
