A very homestyle, authentic place! Great Spanish food that has the real ingredients! Hard to find anymore! A great chill out spot even after hours & with security! No nonsense allowed! No lie I had like 2 glasses of wine & 3 plates of food. 2 there & one to take home. I just love the Yuca & Beef Stew! When the police come they move so fast & act regular. They aren't scared to take chances! I love this spot! Makes me feel like I'm in Puerto Rico & Dominica Republic. Oh & they give huge portions. The Latina women are very catering! Great Music!

This cuchifrito is horrible it used to be nice back in the day but it changed dramatically. The servers are very rude, you ask them a question and there ready to yell at you very unprofessional. The servers serve your food with no gloves on They are unsanitary. Also they raise the prices and taxes they charge on the food depending on the server. It’s sad they run there business in this way in a impoverished neighborhood. Lastly they only take cash and the servers have a hard time giving you back the right change.

If you are looking for good Latin food this is the place! I have never been disappointed with their food. I usually get pernil with yellow rice and res beans and roasted chicken with yellow rice and red beans for my mom. You have to try the limeade! It is soooo good.

I walked in by accident! I was starving waiting for my papa John's 2 stores down and the lady was so nice! I ordered fried chicken but she gave me baked. It was really good! And I had the oat drink

Good old fashioned 80s style "Cuchifrito"... Some really good Mofongo though, they have a pretty good spread for the money. Not too greasy but don't overdo it. Your best bet is to call in your order and pick it up as this place has NO PARKING, not even double parking!... The ticket ninjas are always out so be careful. They are social distancing with everything so don't just stroll in without checking if there's a line.. Unless you're picking up.
