The service was amazing, very friendly and came over and took care of us so quickly. The drinks are so freaking delicious. The empandas was to die for. And the steak and onions with white rice was everything the view was lovely felt like I was in the city a hidden gem for sure will definitely come back

The food got one of us sick, not to mention (the meat especially) wasn’t fresh, was congealed & cold. The greeter wasn’t super friendly either.

This review is not based on food, as we never even got to eat.We came here last Sunday for brunch, and the waiter dropped the menus on our table and never even welcomed us, and never even gave us his name. A few minutes later, we asked for mimosas he said he had to check if they had champagne, then told us no mimosas. I opted for a coffee. We ordered our food, and 30 minutes later we reminded him, that we were there a long time and that the place was not that busy, and he snipped that even tho it was not that busy in the restaurant that they had to take care of outgoing orders first, to then clear for our order. He never politely came to our table to explain a delay. Courtesy goes a long way when dealing with customers. We felt very unwelcomed almost as it bothered him that we were there. There was only one other table with customers, and we saw him delivering food to their table while speaking on his cell phone. Will not go back.

I ordered a Vegan Maduro Relleno and was very disappointed when I opened my order. Definitely not worth the price or wait time. Overpriced and poor quality.

This is the first time I called and I will never ever call for a delivery from this place again. I called and over an hour and still nothing and then they don’t take cash I had to pay by card because they deliver three doordash when owning a business you should always have 2 drivers there just in case things like this Happen. The lady answers the phone not a word of English I had to repeat my address 3 times and she still called me back and asked if I can tell her the address again like you have a business in the Bronx you should have some1 answering the phones that can speak English and Spanish. I will never call nor would I recommend ordering from this place, unless your starving and wanna die from hunger then you can call but I will never give this place another penny.

This is a review of newer La Masa on 3399 East Tremont. This is the 2nd time I come here for $10 lunch specials on weekdays. Today Aug 4th at 2pm, the waitress handed me the regular menu and I had to ask her for the $10 special menu. I was nice about it. After that, she showed fake hospitality with an undertone of annoyance. After I handed her my credit card to pay, she handed me a tablet to sign and hovered on the tip section. Like if she wanted to make sure she got tip. Odd, because the last time I was here a much nicer waiter handed me a paper receipt and I left 25% tip. As I was leaving, a patron asked if the restaurant serves alcohol and same waitress said no, but she was make a margarita for her as a one off. Seems to me the 3399 East Tremont location was a crappy waitress who may get the owners in trouble if she starts illegally serving alcohol. As for me, I'll give this place a third try, but not if that waitress is around.
