Celebrated my mother's birthday at La Masa. We had around 50 people. Diany and her team were amazing. The food and drinks options...so delicious. We ATE! We had an amazing time, and I can't thank them enough for helping make my mom's day one to remember.

We LOVE La Masa - the food is amazing and the portions are huge. One entree with an appetizer is enough for 2 people easily, usually with some left over. The drinks are delicious - especially their mojitos. And the staff is just so sweet and friendly. You can't find a better place in the Bronx for a good meal.

I ordered my take out food over the phone and was told 20 minutes. I arrived 25 minutes later for the lady to tell me 5 more minutes. No problem. I waited and waited and waited. 50 minutes went by and she finally came out with my food which tasted absolutely horrible. So sad to say that this was my 2nd time there and the first time was no better and there will not be a 3rd time. The food is just not good unfortunately and I try to support the community but I can no longer spend my money there.

The only positive aspect was the service; however, the food was overly salty and quite pricey for what we received. Additionally, they impose an 18% service fee that is unrelated to the tip. When I inquired about this charge, I received a lot of nonsense stating that it goes to the owners. Therefore, an extra $15 was added to the bill, along with a tip of $112 for the salty food. If you come across this establishment, I recommend you continue on your way.

We had a truly wonderful experience at La Masa! From the moment we arrived, Manager Diany made us feel incredibly welcomed and taken care of. Her warm energy and attentiveness set the tone for the entire visit. Our servers, Loralay and Maria, were equally amazing—friendly, professional, and so thoughtful throughout our meal.
The atmosphere was inviting, the food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. Thank you for making our visit memorable. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

It was my first time visiting with my sister. It was not busy, so the waitress, Maria Celeste, from Spain (inside joke), took our orders. She was super nice and serviceable, considering that the place was not busy. A plus for us. The food was delicious (yes, we were starving), but small portions. We ordered the chicharron and guacamole with plantain chips. The chicharron was not crunchy at all, but it was fresh and delicious. I would normally say something about it, but it was delicious, so I didn't. The sancocho was also delicious but served on a small bowl. Not enough to take leftovers. A huge plus was the service. The food tasted good, not crowded, and the price was decent. A huge negative for me was the portion size and the 18% tip disguised as a service fee added to the bill. It obligated my sister and I to shell out an additional tip to Maria Celeste. Had the 18% service fee not been added, we would have tipped her appropriately. Overall, our dining experience was pleasant, and the food and service were good. Thank you, Maria Celeste!

Just to say. The service is absolutely top-notch. Maria and Rosemary attended our table with attention to all our needs in our family dinner. They are BABABOOM!! The greeting from the moment you go in this establishment is absolutely cordial. You will feel the warm, caring experience from the staff. My congratulations to managers / owners. The food is excellent, and portions are generous. I will recommend 100% to visit and experience good dining. La Masa. Kisses and hugs king size muuuah. Be all safe and stay healthy. I almost forgot... please try the passion fruit mousse.
