Excellent food—fantastic mole!—nearly everything is gluten free, and the agua frescas were delicious as well. Even simple items like the rice and beans were very nicely done. Great service. Not a fancy interior, but very clean and the food is sooooooooooo good.

We were recommended to try this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. We had the calamari which was tender and cooked perfectly. Since paella was their specialty, we had it with seafood. Also, a great choice. Our waiter, Manny was terrific and very kind. Claudia came also more than once to make sure everything was acceptable! We will definitely go back.

I just called, and apparently they are open for dine-in again! The website says "takeout and delivery only" but right now they are dine-in, M-F 10-4

La Morada is dangerous. After each meal there, you will find yourself craving nothing else for the rest of the week. It's sincerely one of my favorite restaurants in the whole city, and my only regret is that I do not live closer. Thank you for making such beautiful food, with love.

Delicious food, had al pastor tacos, white mole, and vegetable enchiladas. Really flavorful bites of food. As a Korean the white mole was a bit difficult for me to wrap my head around, since we make a dish similar to this but with totally different flavor. The horchata was fresh made (I don’t know how that is possible, but it was good), and limonata great as well.I came after watching Taco Chronicles on Netflix. The famed vegan squash flower tacos were not yet available as it is seasonal and they will appear roughly end of June through September. Can’t wait to come back and try those. Not the most modern dining area, very local feel which was appropriate of course, but I do wish a bit more attention was paid to interior, but like I said, great food and great service.Well worth checking out!

The best and most beautiful memory that I will take to Chile is La Morada, where the wonderful seasoning and love for humanity come together perfectly. Thanks to Natalia and her wonderful family

The food here is outstanding. The Mole is maybe the best thing I have ever eaten. Along with the community connection this restaurant is a local hidden gem that any visit to the South Bronx should include.

Immaculate vibes. A true space for the community. Hopefully they receive enough support to expand the hours.
