Liebman’s can be very good but not consistent and prices are high. My favorites are the turkey platter and burger platter. The chicken soup and matzo ball soup are very good but not much chicken and salty.

Authentic perfection. Worth the trip!
If you are looking for a truly authentic Jewish deli experience, this is the place. As a local who gets around the city quite a bit, I can tell you that the trip here is absolutely worth it.
The Food: Everything was fantastic and delicious. The portions are huge—exactly what you want from a real deli—and you can tell the quality is top-tier. It’s the kind of meal that leaves you planning your next visit before you’ve even finished.
The Atmosphere: I loved the old-school decor. It has that classic, timeless feel that so many modern spots try (and fail) to replicate. It adds so much to the overall experience.
Overall: I would recommend Liebman’s for sure. It’s a gem that delivers on both flavor and atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Don’t bother to eat in. Selective deli counter items are your best bet. Pastrami and coleslaw are tops. Ordered chicken soup.so salty it was basically inedible. What kind of deli does that? Knishes are basically all potato. The kasha had no visible grain. The meat knish was blended into potato too.

I wish there were more deli still in business like this one. As soon as you walk in the door, it’s a time warp. Old school vibes, but super clean modernized upgrades. Not to mention the greeted with a big smile by the Host/owner. Who wears the coolest T-shirt which are for sale and I was lucky enough to buy one because they run out.

The food everything I ordered was amazing took me back to my childhood and it was so good. I got a triple order of everything to take home to share with friends and family. From the matzoh ball soup to the Frank footer with sauerkraut a triple-decker sandwiches I even got a chocolate ice cream. There’s nothing on the menu that’s not great. Everything is fresh and comes out quick and the service is good. The place is clean and everybody dining there is very nice and friendly.

First time , waited along time for take out . My mother asked for gravy and her toast to be toasted wasn’t given . Rushed on giving the sauces and one broke inside the bag . The food was fresh good and yes I blew my calorie count . But I wish we didn’t wait so long . The dining room was packed and I believe they carried to the grub hub and dining room. Food was good but be prepared to wait

If you want the BEST PASTRAMI SANDWICH IN NYC Liebmans Deli is the place. And as former New York Yankee Harrison Bader said it's the BEST HOT DOG IN NYC. Liebmans is the last Jewish Kosher Deli in the Bronx. They have been in Riverdale since 1953. If you like late 1950's and early 1960's Doo Wop and Rock N Roll that's what they play over their speaker system. So definitely make a trip to Liebmans if you haven't already and enjoy great Jewish Kosher food from the GOOD OLD DAYS. ALso ask for the waiter Husyen.

This has all the choices: pickles; Cole slaw; corned beef; pastrami. Get the big bottle of siphon seltzer for your table.
