First time , waited along time for take out . My mother asked for gravy and her toast to be toasted wasn’t given . Rushed on giving the sauces and one broke inside the bag . The food was fresh good and yes I blew my calorie count . But I wish we didn’t wait so long . The dining room was packed and I believe they carried to the grub hub and dining room. Food was good but be prepared to wait

If you want the BEST PASTRAMI SANDWICH IN NYC Liebmans Deli is the place. And as former New York Yankee Harrison Bader said it's the BEST HOT DOG IN NYC. Liebmans is the last Jewish Kosher Deli in the Bronx. They have been in Riverdale since 1953. If you like late 1950's and early 1960's Doo Wop and Rock N Roll that's what they play over their speaker system. So definitely make a trip to Liebmans if you haven't already and enjoy great Jewish Kosher food from the GOOD OLD DAYS. ALso ask for the waiter Husyen.

A good deli for an old fashion pastrami sandwich and Dr Brown cream soda.

Nestled within the hilly terrain of the Riverdale neighborhood in the Bronx this restaurant offers delicious kosher offerings. The pastrami was as good as any I tasted, the matzo ball soup had noodles (which was the 1st time I experienced), and the chocolate egg cream made for a complete, delicious lunch.
Another thing that is great about this deli was that there is a parking lot around the corner on Johnson Avenue. It maybe out of the way from most parts of the city but if one has a vehicle it's relatively easy to get here.
Mile high piled sandwiches! Absolutely delicious 😋
Coney Island Square Knish was great too
Love the Metallica-styled Deli shirts!!
Beware! There is no hashkacha at all! It's not actually kosher.
Classic place that's been around for decades in Ruverdale. Equally as good if not better than Katz's with great service.
Very clean.. delicious food! Will definitely recommend
stuffed peppers are awesome: real meat inside, not some funky mixture with liquids

OMG Blow your F mind good !!! The classic. Corned beef and Pastrami… 😋😋😋
I’ve always wanted to visit here and for someone who’s grown up and lived in the NYC area most of my life I don’t know what took me so long! So on Sunday my wife and I schlepped up to the Bronx from the Upper West Side…and I’m glad we did. To make what could be a long review short…Liebman’s is as good a deli as I’ve ever been too. That includes all of the great NYC delis…Katz’s, Second Avenue Deli, Stage Deli (in its prime), Carnegie, Pastrami Queen to mention a few.
The pastrami, the corned beef, the knishes, French fries and matzo ball soup were what we hope for when we step into a deli. May this place (and other delis) thrive for generations.
