Grew up in this place. Moved out of the city 20 years ago. Came back once in 2021 and the slice was the same and the staff was as friendly as I remembered it.
Couldn’t wait to stop by today for a slice and some old nostalgia and the good vibes ended with the slice. That was the same…but I didn’t get the same good vibes with the dude behind the counter. I’ll leave it at that. Not sure what happened with the original owner and the staff. But I miss those vibes....

I came across Ljubo's while on a business trip in the area. It reminded me of the small, mom-and-pop pizzerias I used to visit in NYC, often with just a few tables and chairs. I ordered a slice with extra cheese, and I was amazed by the size—it was absolutely ginormous, with a very generous amount of mozzarella. While the crust was a bit doughy for my personal taste, the slice exceeded my expectations overall. Next time, I'll be sure to ask for the pizza to be cooked...
