Delicious Mexican food in this authentic gem of a restaurant. The area is a bit sketchy but that's how you know there's good food. Everything I've tasted has been delicious and authentic, from the nachos and the GAC, to the tacos, handmade tortillas and tamales, to their horchata. Truly a treat to have. The atmosphere is hole in the wall dive bar vibes. The staff are friendly and attentive. Portions are generous.

The worst experience I’ve had in any restaurant and honestly the first time I’ve ever been racially profiled. I am a darker Hispanic man ( PR & Cuban) & I came in the other day with my wife to pick up some dinner ( steak tacos & enchiladas etc) and the food total came out to about $50 or so. I was then surprised to hear that I had to give my STATE ID along with my card in order to pay, keep in mind I had not ordered any alcohol nor was the total over $100. My wife is Hispanic so she understands Spanish fluently and overheard the ladies at the counter whispering about me saying “ I needed to be watched “ and was followed by constant weird stares. I’ve never heard of having to provide ID for $50 worth of food. The people at the counter even asked for my ID again to “verify my name” and such on. I am beyond disgusted with that treatment and will never step foot into that establishment again. If you are a person of color I warn you that you will be treated with the same courtesy as I did.

I ordered quesadilla take out when I arrive at home I found tacos on my order the taco don’t taste good
I just ordered some cemitas and they are all hard and the meat is very dry. Zero quality.. I also ordered some carnita tacos and to start the tortilla is not a standard size, it is small.. little meat and very hard too.. horrible food ?
