Lomo saltado is overpriced and flavorless…no soy sauce, fries are drenched and soaked in oil, and they don’t even provide sauces

Its use to be really good when it first opened but now the food is very expensive. I bought a family combo here and the whole chicken was still pink. It was cooked. Nothing had flavor. Very disappointed with the food here. Only thing great is the green sauce. Other than that this place is not the same.

The food is good. The chicken is cooked to perfection and make sure you add the green sauce to your chicken. Trust me, you'll thank me later!!

The chicken was of the day before !!cold and so dry .....It doesn't Worth the priceThe chicken it's just taste like the (Kirkland's chicken)Nothing special, that is not what our "pollo a la brasa" is , it's not what Peruvian food represent. Not original , just a normal grocery store.

Amidst the bustling labyrinth of South Bronx, those with a hankering for authentic Peruvian flavors have a haven to turn to. I sought refuge here after being disappointed by a Riverdale counterpart's flavor game. Though situated in a not-so-idyllic part of town, where a sense of alertness is beneficial, the culinary journey this place offers is worth the trek. The restaurant might not dazzle with lavish décor, but trust me when I say it more than compensates with its tantalizing taste profiles. Foregoing opulence for authenticity, it promises an experience that fills not just your stomach but also your soul.A highlight to kick-start the meal is the roasted corn accompanied by that zesty green sauce - an absolute treat for the taste buds. The Tallarvin with steak, a nod to lo mein, bursts with rich flavors that are sure to satiate. But, if like me, you have a soft spot for Lomo, prepare to be enthralled. Though the rice serving feels somewhat modest, the generous portions of steak, fries, onions, and tomatoes ensure you won't be left wanting. It's a mouthwatering masterpiece; don't think, just order! To quench your thirst, an Inca Cola or Chicha Morada, a delightful blue corn beverage infused with cinnamon, pairs beautifully with the savory offerings. While the dessert section may not shine as brightly as the mains - the flan being pre-made and rather ordinary - the tres leches makes for a decent conclusion to a hearty meal.In a nutshell, for a punch of authentic Peruvian flavor that leaves an indelible mark on your palate, this South Bronx eatery is the place to be. The Lomo is a must-try, trust me on this one!

Los Nisperos was absolutely fantastic! Although they were sold out of sea bass, they guided me through the menu and helped me make a great selection. The shrimp stir fry at Los Nisperos was absolutely delicious! Los Nisperos is truly one of The Bronx's hidden gems.

We've been coming there for years, but we won't be back for some time. The last few visits have been disappointing. Food quality has lowered, and portions got significantly smaller, considering that prices got exponentially higher. Why do they charge 18% service fee for every table? Even when is 1 or 2 people? This feels abusive because they are not cheap.

Quiet today around brunch, maybe because we rushed in before noon, the portions were huge! I loved my Arroz Chaufa which is a mixture of fried seafood, rice and some fresh herbs, the jalea Mixta was super tasty and delicious, Mon chapeau up for the chef ! I will return

It was too expensive and the food did not have no taste at all and the calamari it was not cooked. Also, they have crabs but they don’t have anything to crack it open.the lady took it back and banged on it but it still was not tasty .They charge tax and service feed, and then on top of it all you give them tip. so no, I don’t recommend this place if you like food without taste and not cook as well then this place is for you.

I consider myself lucky to have stumbled upon Los Nisperos Restaurant in the South Bronx while working nearby. Over the past five years, I have been ordering from this hidden gem, and it has never failed to impress me with its delicious and affordable Peruvian cuisine. If you're in the mood for cheap and authentic Peruvian food, Los Nisperos is the place to go!One of the standout features of Los Nisperos is their exceptional delivery service. They are incredibly fast and reliable, ensuring that your meal arrives promptly and in perfect condition. Not only that, but they pay close attention to any special instructions you provide, ensuring that your meal is prepared exactly the way you like it.While I have tried many dishes from their menu, there are a few that have become my absolute favorites. The Lomo Saltado is simply phenomenal, earning a well-deserved 5/5 rating. Another dish that never fails to satisfy is the Corvina Frita, which I would rate 4/5. And let's not forget about their Jalea, which is a delightful seafood medley that deserves a special mention. The crispiness of the battered and fried seafood, including shrimp and calamari, is simply mouthwatering. It's a true Peruvian delight that should not be missed.Lastly, I must mention their perfect green sauce, which accompanies every meal. Los Nisperos Restaurant is a true hidden gem in the Bronx.
