Coming here for the last 22 years isn't due to lack of choices. M & R easily dominates the Pizza Restaurant business in the northern Bronx and really, all of The Bronx. It has been around since the 70's (best of my knowledge) and caters to schools, medical facilities, other businesses and of course it's people and family of the Bronx.When asking for a slice, you are receiving the best quality and the best price possible, following Ford's motto to the T....
Hands down the best bang for your buck pizzeria in New York. The massive slices are only $2, and have an excellent cheese to crust ratio. In addition, the semi-sweet sauce is very tasty with hints of garlic and pepper. You can also get a large pie for $12!
It's ok. Not what I expected. The slices used to be huge and inexpensive when the old Italian couple ran it. Now that they are under new management, it's just another ordinary pizza spot.
