This place was great! I came here for the cannoli and I was not disappointed. 10/10 highly recommend stopping by. My wife got some cookies. I’m not a fan of cookies but they were ok. I just can’t stop thinking about that cannoli though. Wish I could run back and grab another one.

I work in the city and have heard about Madonia Bakery from co workers and the social media and so today before heading back home to the Pocono's we stopped by and grabbed a couple of their famous breads and of course some cannolis. The bake shop was clean and the customer service on point. Most importantly, their breads and cannolis are delicious. Unfortunately , since it was our first time we didn't know that it was cash only we weren't able to purchase other goodies at the time. We will be back though.

The absolutely WORST baguette ever. This thing is so hard not just the outside but the inside as well. Clearly this is an old product but to sell it at 12 in the afternoon??? Unbelievable

Bread was so fresh, crusty and delicious. The workers were very nice and friendly. I had never seen dark chocolate bread, but took a loaf home and it was amazing. I will most definitely be coming back!

I just stopped by Madonoas's after a few years of not passing by as a young teen and it's still the great service and nice people as always. I picked up some cookies for my son and wife and some great bread as well.

My husband is a huge fan of cannoli, me not so much. Madonia Bakery has converted me! We absolutely fell in love with their cannoli. They fill them on order. The shell is crisp and the filling...oh that filling! So silky, not too sweet. Perfect!

Prepare to be ignored if you are a hijabi. Staff were friendly to everyone else though. I’ve had better cannolis anywhere in the

Bakery Review: Incredible Bread, Questionable Attitude

If you’re looking for the best bread in town and don’t mind a side of mild emotional abuse, this bakery is the place for you.

The Bread? Life-Changing.

The moment you take a bite, you’ll wonder if you were born in the wrong century, because this bread tastes like it was handcrafted by medieval monks using ancient secrets. Crust? Perfectly crisp. Inside? Fluffy, warm, and borderline spiritual. You’ll want to buy extra just to apologize to your past self for ever eating store-bought bread.

The Staff? Hilariously Rude.

Ever been judged for your pastry choices? You will be. Ask a question, and you’ll get a look that says, “You seriously don’t know that?” Order too slowly? Expect an exaggerated sigh. But somehow, it adds to the charm—like a grumpy grandma who secretly loves you but would never admit it.

Final Verdict

Come for the unreal bread, stay for the comedic hostility. Just don’t expect warm smiles—unless you count the warmth of a fresh baguette smacking you with judgment. 10/10 would get roasted again.

Great place for fresh bread. So many different flavors to choose from. Came here for the olive bread. A little salty. Generous amount of olives.
Semolina was delicious.
Went with one of those large black and white cookies for a late snack.

The best Cannoli in Little Italy! The Cannolis here are filled fresh and are the best in Little Italy! The filling is super creamy and perfectly sweetened. Not overly rich either. The shell was perfect! Service was friendly and quick.
Their other baked goods especially the biscotti looked tasty. I have to go back to try them..

I was so excited about this place! I could not wait to try the olive bread. I was quickly let down when I realized that they utilize additives in their bread. If I wanted poison in my bread I would go to the grocery store and purchase “insert big brand name here”.
I was let down when I read the additive Potassium bromate. This is an ingredient listed on the bag. Potassium bromate (KBrO3) is an oxidizing agent that has been used as a food additive, mainly in the bread-making process. Although adverse effects are not evident in animals fed bread-based diets made from flour treated with KBrO3, the agent is carcinogenic in rats and nephrotoxic in both man and experimental animals when given orally.
I guess if you don’t care then it won’t matter though. At least they were transparent about it.
In a good note the service was exceptional! But I won’t be back.
