The restaurant server is a scammer, biased, and provided terrible customer service. I went to the restaurant on November 25th at night to buy grilled chicken. I had bought grilled chicken there years ago and I had no problem. But on November 25th it was different. I was the only woman in the restaurant and when I asked if they served grilled chicken the server showed me stew chicken. He then told me each piece of chicken was $4 while holding a drumstick. I told him that was too expensive. Later I saw the same server dish a chicken meal for a male customer and I waiting for the server to quote a price for the meal, but instead he told the customer he could pay him tomorrow. So, I asked the server if I bought a meal how many pieces of chicken would come with it. He replied it depends on the sides that come with it. So I asked about jollof rice as a side. He replied only two pieces and it didn't matter the size of the meal. So I asked him why would only two pieces come with the largest size if two pieces also come with the smallest size. He became angry and replied that the largest size comes with more of the sides (jollof rice) so that is why it cost more. I replied that other restaurants sell two pieces of chicken alone for $5 or $6, so it's excessive to sell one drumstick for $4 and only two pieces per meal no matter the size of the meal. He became even more angrier and started yelling that in this restaurant that is the price and I should not tell him about other restaurants. I asked if he was willing to negotiate on the price and he replied no. So, I left the restaurant and I will never come back. Beware going to that restaurant! If you are not a man and the server assumes you are not african, he will try to scam you and charge you ridiculous prices!

The lady calls an tell us there no fufu, I ordered a whole tilapia grilled fish an the fish never came jus a tray of rice with sauce and im calling an now no one gone pic up the call. Shame on this !!!

The customer service was rude the food was over spicy to the point where it burn my skin you only taste heat no flavor 3 piece of cut up meat in soup the rice was good but my fish was only the head no meat. Over all bad experience.

I only ate African food once which was fufu I looked up mama Gs and went there on a Sunday she was there serving her food that was so awesome she recommended me a entree because I wasn’t familiar on how to order !! She told me I would like it and when I got home I loved it !!! The fufu was still hot and soft !!! The okra goat soup was homemade and fresh it was so good !!! I had to save it for later how many people do you know who own a restaurant that actually cooking there own food also serving she does everything on her own !! Inside her restaurant were so many people there !!!! IF YOU WANT GOOD AFRICAN FOOD GO HERE SHE HAS THE BEST HOMEMADE AFRICA EVER !!! MAMA G IS THE BEST THANKS FOR THE WONDERFUL FRESH FOOD WONDERFUL JOB !!!

I like the food African the cooking, it was delicious.
Got my food to go and when I got home found 2 flies floating in my soup. I couldn’t believe my eyes. And I waited so long for my food after a long day at work. And then I feel like they over charged me because I’m not African or something they laughed when I made my order. Poor customer service.
