Overall this is a terrific little Italian resturant on Arthur Ave. Love the ambience and the food is superb. Only draw back for us being a party of 6 was the delay of food. Our reservations were at 2 and we were not served until 3. 2 other parties came in after us, a party of 2 and a party of 4. They both had their food before us. The waiter was very good but not sure why the delay.
Always delicious and fresh.Brought friends for first time and they were very enthusiastic. We tried new things. The bread is the best. Even took out for another meal. A winner as always with free parking .
Charming. Quality for price. Entertained by crooner singing from Billy Joel songbook. Good time for all.
Honestly wanted to like this. No restaurants on Arthur Avenue are attractive...but aside from that, the food and wine were truly awful...Sadly, I have yet to find a good restaurant or bakery in the area...I guess it's mostly a tourist site.
Amazing food and service ! We loved it!! A little loud and lively however we were able to hear everyone at our table !
Exceptional meal and service. I would rate it very highly. A pleasant surprise was the valet parking that really solves the only potential problem around Arthur Ave.
Ambiance is classical and professional. Drinks were served well from their bartender and a variety of spirits to choose from. Like that they had specials of the day in all categories appetizers, soups, desserts, entrees, and drinks. The baked clams were delicious very moist not dried out and seasoned well! Clam chowder was surprisingly tasty with a hint of lemon and sherry wine! Baked manicotti was FRESH and Superb!!!!! The Veal Marsala was Excellent!!!!! So happy they had veal many places removing veal from their menus. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back, Thank You So Much Mario's!!!!
Excellent service and great authentic Italian food for lunch. It was very quiet since it was lunch on a weekday, but we had an excellent meal served by a friendly and attentive waiter.
We loved it, it was very chill and the food was amazing. It took a long time but it was yummy.
Kid-friendliness: We came with my toddler (he behaves well most of the time) so it wasn’t an issue.

The service was great as was the food. I just found the noise level made it difficult to hear conversation well.
Parking: It's best if you use their valet service. Traffic and parking in that area is extremely difficult.

HORRIBLE. TRUST THE BAD REVIEWS. Sat at 6pm. Took almost 50 minutes for our awful cold appetizers to come out while we listened to a cheap karaoke singer. And 1hr and 45 minutes in, our food still didn't come. We had a show to catch at 8pm and told the owner, who rudely said she only had 1 chef and that it didn't matter if we arrived to our show at Botanical Gardens on time, because we "wouldn't get in anyway with the lines". We told her other tables that sat down 30 minutes after us got their food, and we didn't appreciate her attitude. They also refilled our sodas without us asking, and CHARGED US for all of the refills!! We witnessed other tables talking to her about the same thing, while she gave attitude, no care, and no resolution. I will NEVER be coming back, and I will make sure my friends and family know to stay away.

Drove up from Bay Ridge Brooklyn. Always loved Arthur Ave. First time at Mario’s. Staff was attentive, our waiter Tony was friendly & professional. All food and drinks were spot on. Joe the singer was excellent. He played & sang songs you want to hear while dining. If you’re on Arthur Ave don’t miss this place.
