Have ordered twice from here, never been in person. The first time we ordered everything was amazing and perfect. The cheese pizza was delicious & the zeppoles were nice and soft. Second time ordering, the cheese pizza was hard but good flavor, softened it by microwaving it. The chicken parm pizza is really good but the zeppoles came super hard, inedible, and tasted like it was fried in nasty reused oil.

I remember when Mario opened when I was kid in the 70s. When lived on Rombouts Ave. We often bought large pies and cazones. They were the best. Missed it! If I ever get back there, Marios will be my first meal stop!

If you’re looking for some delicious and humungous slices to eat while on the go this is the place for you. It’s your usual neighborhood pizzeria with the friendliest staff. I will definitely stop in again. There was seating available but only a small section.
