Every time I come here, I always regret it. I can't stand this place. I wish they made another McDonald's nearby so I can stop walking here.
There's always a quality issue with food. In today's case; The buns were overcooked, the buns smell burnt with the box closed. let alone with it open, finding the ingredients placed to the side of the sandwich, not even inside. Do I build the burger myself now? I might as well cook it too, cuz they failed at that on 2 sandwiches back to back in 1 order. This is disgusting.

A Frustrating Experience with the $6 McDouble Special – But Excellent Staff
I recently encountered a couple of issues at a specific location that left me conflicted. When ordering the $6 McDouble Special, I discovered there was no option to upgrade the drink to a large size. This restriction was especially frustrating because the small drink is simply not enough. After just a few sips, you’re left with mostly ice. Anyone who’s tried eating a meal with almost no beverage knows how uncomfortable that can be. Why is this upgrade option unavailable at this location?
Despite this, I’ve been to this location twice, and the one thing that stood out was the quality of the staff. The team here is absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and efficient. They clearly work hard to make sure customers have a good experience. It’s rare to encounter customer service this great, and it’s something I truly appreciate. In fact, I would love to see this same level of care and dedication reflected across all locations.
Unfortunately, despite the excellent staff, the limitations with the drink options and the ongoing issue with paper straws make it difficult for me to keep returning. As much as I value the people working there, I’ve decided to switch to a different location for now.
On the subject of paper straws, I find them impractical. They soften and become unusable far too quickly, and yet no alternative is offered. I challenge anyone to stand by the claim that paper straws are 100% effective. It feels unfair to force customers to use a product that clearly doesn’t work well. Why not provide the option to request a plastic straw? A little choice would go a long way toward improving the overall experience.
In summary, while the staff was truly outstanding, the issues with drink upgrades and straw options ultimately overshadowed the positive aspects of my visit. I hope these concerns can be addressed in the future, because the people working there deserve to have their excellent service matched by equally thoughtful policies.

This place is 100% filthy, I had ordered a regular cheese burger with extra cheese, I was thinking I was gonna get one extra slice or two maybe come to find out I see this when I open my wrapper, no meat at all just cheese, I don’t know who is working back there but they need to be fired

I do not recommend this location on Gunhill Rd. This location continues to serve old cold fries, no crunch or freshness at all! Purchased 3 orders, all were cold. Old nuggets taste stale, cheeseburgers were dry and the Big Mac got smaller in size again. The bun was squashed down like almost half of it got stuck under something. NEVER AGAIN $20 down the drain. I miss the old McDonald’s where microwaves were not used to heat old food but rather made on the spot fresh.

People in groups hanging out inside the restaurant, and they all know each other. It gives an unsafe feel to the restaurant even though they have an unarmed guard. Tables were dirty.
