One of the best mom and pop Café I've been to. They cook with love and passion and the food is amazing. This is honestly a hidden gem in the Bronx that I will be going to many more times.

Old school restaurant with limited menu. Closes early in the afternoon.
Breakfast and lunch served...not a modern experience, but the chicken sandwich I rendered was delicious and prices were reasonable

Melas is home cuisine and very mild flavor prepared foods, and that’s a good thing nothing is overwhelming in flavor, very delicated with the garlic and is very important to have a nice clean finish like their food.
