Everything I've tried off the menu has been delicious and true to the description. Nothing is ever over or under-cooked or over/under-salted. Very consistent quality every time. The service is always great, both for take out and dining in.

So over priced its criminal. Just paid $70 for 2 burritos and steak tacos. This used to be the Mexican spot of choice in the neighborhood. So ridiculous for mediocre food.

I arrived at this restaurant at 10:00 PM, after checking Google beforehand, which clearly states the restaurant closes at 11:00 PM. I walked four blocks from my home to eat here because I had eaten here before and enjoyed the food, and I was planning to order one of their larger meat dishes.
However, the moment I walked in — before I even had a chance to sit down properly — the staff immediately told me it was last call and rushed me to order food and drinks right away. The interaction felt more like pressure than service, as if I was already being pushed to leave.
What made this more uncomfortable is that I am not someone who comes in just to sit or waste time. I always order properly, and I am a respectful customer who consistently leaves very good tips — always over 20%. For that reason, I truly did not understand the urgency or the way I was treated.
I understand that kitchens may close earlier, but if that is the case, it should be clearly stated online or communicated politely and professionally, not in a way that makes a customer feel unwelcome.
Because of this experience, I decided to leave without ordering. It was disappointing, especially since my previous visit had been positive. Good food alone is not enough if the customer service makes you feel rushed or unwanted.
I hope management reviews how late-night customers are treated, because this experience did not match what Google’s information or my prior visit suggested.

Horrible environment. Waiters are mean and uncaring. The restaurant is desperate for business because the food is terrible. They need to close it down. It’s a waste of space. STAY AWAY.

Update (8 years later): So, it took 8 years, but I finally gave this place another chance. The food has gotten a little better, so I raised my rating. A group of 6 of us ate for $100 (no drinks, no apps, no desserts), which isn't bad for the area. The food is decent, and I was debating 3 or 4 stars, but went with 3 because it's not something I'd crave or seek out.
If I'm being honest, I was little annoyed they couldn't toss in a side of plain chips (Chipotle style) on a $100 order, but I get they need to make money.
