I visited Evo Lounge during the evening hours, bc l attended a comedy show there. I was required to order a two drink minimum, which wasn't too bad, only the alcholic beverages are watered down w/ lots of ice, next time l will ask for minimal to no ice. The meal was tasty. I ordered the white rice with platanos & garlic shrimp, mmmm..., my favorite. Its a nice sports bar type atmosphere & nice spot for happy hour drinks, only tell the bartender no to minimal ice in the drink(s). The DJ is good, spins a variety of music. Went there with a group of friends. Had a gr888 time. The wait service is good.

Cute lounge but it was way too loud to enjoy. We stayed for apps and a drink then found somewhere else to go. If they had lowered the volume just a bit to a comfortable level - we would've totally stayed.

First time at Casa and we had a great time. Had brunch and the food was excellent. Service was great. Jose took care of us and he was very attentive.Would definitely go back.

The place is super loud but it doesn't bother me because the music was great!! The drinks are totally watered down. I ordered a pitcher of mojitos and there was no sugar cane, no flavor of mint, run or anything else. Tasted like slightly minted water. The guacamole tasted prepackaged. The shrimp dish had no flavor - the skirt steak was ok, the lime rice - meh. Make sure you know that they include a 20% tip on ALL checks. The hookah service man kept my change - even though he said he would bring it to me over 5 times. What hookah man doesn't have $5 change (the only take cash). All in all - I would never eat there again, I would sit at the bar, drink soda and listen to the great music. Of even better, eat at HK (next door) and listen to the music from Casa.

We shared a delicious lobster crab dip for the appetizer. It was creamy, flavorful and the the chunks of seafood were visible in the dip. For our main course, we had oxtails which were presented with a plaintain mofongo (rather bland but a perfect foil for the slightly spice sauce in the oxtails). We also ordered a side of the cilantro rice which could have been eaten by itself, it was so good. Finally we ordered the double chocolate truffle cake - I really enjoyed the combination of chocolatey goodness and nice cold ice cream. A great finish to a wonderful meal.

I have been to Casa Restaurant & Lounge many times. That should sum it up right there. I love the food, the Sunday brunches, the beverages, the hookah, the party room, the bar, the bartenders, the servers, the customer service and the music. Overall it is a great place.
When we arrived for our reservation there was a party wrapping up however the party lingered for another hour of loud shouters and our waitress was distracted by the other guests than to make sure we were ok. The music was so loud that we could not hold a conversation. The waitress decided to end her time with us to attend another party in the same place a little unprofessional to say the least... lastly when we went to pay our order with our debit card the waitress insisted on taking my husbands drivers license to the back to write down his information we found it odd and refused to provide the card I understand needing to see it but not taking out information not cool $225 later we just paid in cash never to go there again even if the food was good! That never happens at Havana or Cabo or Made in Puerto Rico or Mamajuana... this was our first and last visit at Casa! Very disappointing!

I feel like I got all the wrong information while booking this place. First off it said city island ended up not being, than they didn't find my RSVP but called me earlier in the day to confirm. They sat us next to a table smoking hookah which had I known that hookah was going to be an option, I would have never booked. The only good thing was the water it keep flowing the food was gross so many different flavor not one complement the other. The burger was raw when we told the waiter she didn't believe us we had to use our phone for a light because it was so dark in there. Everything we ordered from the menu came out different totally not what we was expecting. It was my birthday and this was not the environment I wanted to be in. But hey if you like hood spot this is your place!
