Mofongo El Mocano (Mofongo Tipico)

The customer service here is TRASH. The lady in the front who serves food to go has an unfortunate displeasing attitude for lack of words. Constantly forgetting to put items that you order in your bag, in addition, they serve you
rotten drinks and when you ask for a new one you get told “no” that you need to return to the restaurant within less than 30 mins. That clearly tells you where their customer service standards are. The prices compare to 3rd ave or 167 are ridiculous. Their food is your traditional Spanish food. Nothing you can find in El Valle or Latin grill. Never coming here for this price and attitude.

The customer service here is terrible. The lady at the entrance and in charge of the takeaway service has an unfortunately unpleasant attitude, to put it mildly. Constantly forget to put the items you order in your bag. Also, they serve drinks with expired milk and when you ask for a new one, they tell you no and that you must return to the restaurant in less than 30 minutes. That makes it clear what standard of customer service they have. The prices are ridiculous compared to those on Third Avenue or 167th Street. Their food is typical Spanish food. There is nothing you can't find in El Valle or Parilla Latina. I will never come back here again because of these prices and this attitude.

Based on the picture of the food and the reviews on Google my friends and l went to this restaurant it was clean the staff were nice however the dish that I got which was the mofongo with the white sauce and 6 shrimps was disgusting it was dry it was not seasoned the sauce was bland I did enjoy the Pina colada despite me not being able to taste the liquor the waitress was beautiful I waited about 25 years to finally see New York and to finally taste mofongo and honestly I can say I was not impressed I don't know if the reviews are people that are friends and family as far as I can see that restaurant is very overrated l paid $38 for mofongo and a pina colada I wish I could give them zero Stars for the food

Food is wack. I could make better food at home and the waitress didn't come to check on us after we got our food, didn't give us no salt or refills. Terrible terrible service. She was on her phone the whole time. Don't waste your money here.

The rice is not good the chicken is dry never again ????

I felt like my ex was serving me, the person looks very angry. The service was below a blind man's expectation. I'll never go back, not even UberEats.

It cannot be possible that they charge you for eating inside the establishment since you are consuming it and that they charge you for eating inside is an abuse I will not return again it is not the money but the abuse that it has they told me that if I ate outside it would be 13 dollars and To eat inside they charged me 20 dollars

Terrible service, I ordered a meal, they told me it would arrive in 40 minutes and it never arrived. I called again and the woman who helped me said I didn't write down the number correctly. Anyway, I never received my order. I don't recommend it at all.

I visited this restaurant this morning. The food was good. Unfortunately, the woman at the counter who said her name was Joana had a very bad attitude. When I asked for sauce on my rice, she made a face and mumbled under her breath. I spoke with her in Spanish to avoid a language barrier. After I ate my food, I was SHOCKED to see that the tip was included in the bill. I have NEVER seen that for a party of one. When I questioned her about it, she blamed it on the owner and said that’s how it’s set in the computer. First, she pointed to the sign indicating the 4% up charge for credit cards. I explained to her that there’s a difference between 4% and 15%. It made me think she just assumed that I wouldn’t tip. I do not plan to return.
