This used to be an oasis in a food desert. I'm not sure if there was a change of ownership, but I would stay away from this place now. I ordered the egg salad, and the counter person recommended I don't order it because it may be spoiled ..lol ?I almost walked out, but as I said, this part of the world is a bit of a food desert. I decided to order something safe. I went with a bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel. While i waited for the sandwich, i made myself a cup of coffee at the self-serve station, and the creamer was spoiled too! The sandwich barely had bacon, and the bagel was stale. Big thumbs down for this place?

We stopped in this morning and got a plain bagel with salmon lox spread. It was delicious and they were pretty generous with the cream cheese unlike other places.

I ordered a bacon, 2 egg and cheese sandwich and got what is shown in the picture below. Total waste of money and will not be returning. Would leave 0 stars if I could

Under new management.Somebody doesn't know what their doing. Sandwiches need to be made with the proper ratio of ingredients. Nobody asks for half a tomato and a quarter of an onion with their lox.

I have to say I stopped here because I was driving by & this place had good ratings but im sad to say I'm so disappointed by the bagels they were the worst I've ever had. They were hard & tasted stale I don't think they were old it's just how they tasted & felt. I'm so used to my regular bagel shop in long island they are huge & very soft. Service was good, fast & the everything was very clean.

5 stars because the place was quick and convenient from my hotel. The staff was nice, the croissant was decent and my coffee was ?Iced macchiato and a ham and cheese croissant.

I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a toasted everything bagel with butter. To start, the staff was unfriendly.of course , they forgot to put butter, so I went back and politely asked, Hey, do you think I could have some butter? Instead of just giving it to me, they said, "We don't just add butter; you have to request it,"? ?‍♀️. I don’t think I’m going back there. I can get a bacon egg and cheese somewhere else and I’m sure they’ll put more than one slice of bacon and a half a slice of cheese in it.

There are two must haves when visiting the Bronx; chopped cheese and a bagel sandwich. On my visit there I stumbled upon the perfect place for the latter. Granted you don't have to wait for the breakfast version, but I just felt it more respectful if I did. So early the next morning I was up and on the sidewalk making my way here. Now as a bonus, and an amazing one at that, I discovered they serve Lavazza coffee (around since 1895). So there I was with a 2 egg-cheese-ham bagel sandwich in one hand and a large cup of delicious coffee in the other. The morning was brisk, but I was not about to delay this experience. I sat outside on one of the few metal chairs and took it all in. The traffic, the people, the aromas of the city. This was truly the quintessential Bronx experience. Find your way here next time you're near. And go for breakfast. Trust me on that one.

First, the bagels are delicious. However the manager is dreadful to work with. I ordered a pretty large quantity for a corporate event, and had to wait 2 days to speak with a manager to take my order ( because no one else would take an over the phone order). I ordered just bagels, as my manager told me, we would get all the other condiments like butter, cream cheese etc.We weren't able to get the condiments so we had to purchase some the day of. The manager was so upset, because we ordered condiments the day of. He yelled at my manager, that "he asked me if I wanted condiments when I placed the order"... like sir, do you want the business or not?!? So I will definitely think twice about supporting this establishment in the future. Which is a shame, as I try to support neighborhood businesses as much as I can.

My coworker and I entered the Mott Haven Bagel & Barista Cafe for lunch. There was no line when we walked in, but no one spoke to us. We placed an order for two sandwiches and fries. The man who appeared to be a manager was on the phone and tried to take our order at the same time. The young lady took over at the register and when our order finally came up they had forgotten to include the fries in my original order. I told him he was on the phone that's why the order was incorrect. I went on and ordered them again and paid. Still on the phone he turns and asks the cashier if I paid to add insult to injury. The service was rude and distasteful on many levels.
