The food was ok but I expected normal toast my bread was soggy and they gave me the ends of the bread it wasn't even toasted very very dissapointing.

I have been going to his place for 10 years it's good I thought this place was good until the worker there started lying to me saying that he's cleaning the grill it takes an hour when I call every morning for breakfast at the same time everyday and then I go by I see people going in and out picking up their orders or going in and making their orders why would he lie is that the kind of employees this owner hires

2019 review: The salads here are packed like a real salad should be. Do you see those toppings?2021 update: From the reviews here it pretty much seems like this is still way more than a typical Deli.You need a good wide angle camera or a panorama shot to capture all the salad ? toppings here. A vegans delight for sure.

I ordered mozzarella sticks. The inside is not cheese it is a mysterious substance that has the texture of jelly beans. I am appalled. It also came without marinara sauce.

worst deli to go to. i dont know how anyone isnt saying much but place years ago food used to be amazing. now i dont know what happened ever since new chefs & workers were hired. i ordered mozzarella sticks & they burnt half & arent even cooked right. this isnt a first. i have a huge stomach ache now.

Made an order and they did not honor it. With an attitude too. How is a 24 hr store closed??
I appreciate that they have some really good vegan options. However, service has been downhill the last few months. Calling ahead serves no purpose because you get there and they don't even remember you called, I can't make this up, it's happened about 5x. Also not completely vegan friendly as they use the same grill for everything, but if you don't mind . There's a deli literally across the street that has better service.

The price and service from the cashier wasnt bad but the person preparing the food had an attitude, made me wait for a long time to order and when i order he barely listened to me before interrupting so much i kept having to repeat what i wanted. Asked him to cut my wrap and he replied with "wait i cant do everything" i simply asked for him to cut it before wrapping it and when i get home i see that he didnt cut the wrap and didnt put any condiment that i asked. Wouldnt go there again. Terrible service

Fell in love with this place from the minute I walked in! Came here for a bacon and avocado sandwich. Made my order and browsed the menu just to check it out and, although i'm not a vegan, i do avoid dairy and wow, this place has it ALL! They have 3 entire menu sections dedicated to vegan food options and not only that, they are making these dishes with TOP quality ingredients. I dibble and dabble in vegan foods so I know of the cheese, meat, and egg vegan brand substitutes out in the market and this place is only using top ingredients. I'm talking Beyond Burger, Miyokos and Follow Your Heart cheese, Just Egg egg substitute, just to name a few. These are not cheap ingredients (as someone who buys them from regularly) and the fact that a local deli is using them and selling vegan burgers for $9.99 (i.e. regule burger prices) is wonderfully surprising. Anyway, ended up making a last minute add to my breakfast sandwich to get vegan cheese added since they had such great brands available. To top it off, they had just finished baking vegan chocolate chip cookies and I was offered one (free of charge) on my way out! Such amazing people with a great selection of vegan and non-vegan options which is extremely hard to find in the Bronx. Wish I lived closer to come here more often but I will when I can!!!
