This was my childhood pizzeria as I lived right around the corner on 2833 Briggs Avenue and then I moved really far for about 17 years and then came back to the area to visit but when I did, the slice was $2.25 and not even 2 months went by (At that time) and when I went in to ask how much was it, the guy said $2.75 and all I did was just walk right out and went to another pizza shop where it's $2. Someone told me recently it went up even more and that the slices aren't as big as they used to be so I'm not going to even bother going back there if the price went up and the slices are cut out smaller.

I was born and raised in Bronx NY and im in town visiting this week from Miami Florida.. I must say this pizza is amazing and feels like home!! Its delicious and the service was great! I leave today back to Florida but when I come back this is the one place I will definitely order from!

I've been ordering from this pizza shop for over 10 years cause it's the local shop. I had the chance to have a slice at the site, and although I thoroughly enjoy the delivery service, the slice at the store was sooo good!! Simple pepperoni slice was hot, crispy, flavorful. I also had a beef patty, plain; no complaints. It looked a bit smaller than what I remember, but it hit the spot. Do yourself a favor and go visit the location, get a couple of slices, have a seat, and enjoy the fresh, right out of the oven slice of pizza. We had been wanting some New York style pizza so we googled something close to Lehman College. Took some maneuvering to get there and to find a spot to park but we were sure glad we did! We loved it! The food was amazing and everyone got what they wanted. Fed a family of 5 for $40, and that was including ice cream! Which I heard was phenomenal (I couldn't eat it?)These guys were helpful and efficient, and were smiling the whole time?. Things up to My Family Place Pizza for a wonderful lunch experience❤️❤️❤️
