I ordered a Chicken dinner ,with Greens and Macaroni and cheese. All Shrimp. I truly enjoyed the Collard Greens and the rest was too salty and no good flavor at all. The chicken had Chunks and not even whole chicken. Everything is going on the garbage. Try using season with flavor and not seasoned salt. The macaroni was so dry and not flavored at all.

I read the other reviews and I can't speak on their experience but the fried chicken and fish were prepared perfectly! I'm a snob when it comes to this and the seasoning and crunch were right on. I'm going to definitely order from here again.

The food was really good and flavorful. I enjoyed it. I gave this a three because I feel that the candied yams could've been a little sweeter and should've been fully peeled. Skinned yams is a no for me!! The mac and cheese was good too, I prefer more cheese and more of a wet texture. Overall, I was satisfied and I will order again.

They stepped their game up during this pandemic. Food was hot and well seasoned. I ordered the fried whiting, shrimp, candied yams , and greens

I would think that during this world wide pandemic that business owners would take pride in there service. We ordered from UberEats. Trying to support a local restaurant. Clearly We picked the wrong one! The order was atrocious. The bird (I'm not sold on the idea that it was 'chicken'), was double fried. The fries were not proportionate. And most of the order was missing...a complete waste of money. it was not 'Soul Food', they just sold us some food'

Food was meh. Mac and cheese was a little spicy which is not supposed to be the case.. the yams still still had skin on them but they were super tasty outside of that. Chicken was pretty good too. I haven't tasted the banana pudding yet but it looks pretty.

If you are not a personable person, if you are not a "people person" do not get into a business that require you to deal with John Q. Public. The owner of this restaurant is a prime example of one who should have someone else deal with the front of the house. I have ordered from them before and so when my husband said he wanted a fish sandwich for dinner, I knew exactly where to go. I placed an order on Uber Eats on March 23 for two catfish dinners at give or take 4.45pm, I was given a delivery ETA of 6.10pm. I received a message stating that my new delivery time would be 7pm. I was called by the restaurant, by the owner, at 6.30 to tell me that they ran out of catfish. So I asked him how that was possible when I was actually supposed to get my dinner at 6.10, I asked if those who walk in take precedence over those who order for delivery. He was arrogant, rude, impatient and extremely annoyed that I had questions. I guess I was just supposed to say...yes sir, boss I is sorry yalllsSSS don ran out of catfish, send me whatever....on MY DIME? I asked him what other type of fish he had for a replacement, he had an attitude about that...and told me with all the put upon air he could snatch out of the atmosphere that he had whiting so then I asked how many comes with the dinner, and the difference in the price since whiting is actually a cheaper fish than catfish. He proceeded to tell me that he was refunding my money and hung up. Next time my husband or I feel like fish, I'd rather drive upstate for it. This man will never have to worry about me ever supporting his business. I do understand that with this pandemic crisis everyone is somewhat short of a lot of virtues but I am not going to be talked down to when I am spending my dollars in this time trying to keep YOU afloat. As an African American, I can say this and couldn't care less about any backlash...this is why African American businesses don't succeed, NOBODY WANTS THE ATTITUDE, STOP IT!!!

The best sea food

The worst soul food I have ever had in my life! Why the hell did they serve me GLORY GREENS?! Then the bread was mushy and the fish taste like leftovers. Save your money, you stomach, and your damn time!

The nerve of this place to serve me canned collard greens, followed by musty catfish nuggets tossed on soggy wheat bread masquerading as a "sandwich". Listen, I love fish on wonderbread, but this ain't it! CANNED COLLARD GREENS!!!
