We called the moment they opened and ordered a big order expecting that they will deny it. Instead, they catered us so nicely and provided our team with the best Indian food we ever had ( the order was for 10 to 12 people)Definitely coming back. Tikka masala was to die for.

Exquisite Dining Experience at NEEM Indian CuisineI recently had the pleasure of dining at NEEM Indian Cuisine on Johnson Avenue in Riverdale, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable. Nandi and her husband Anil who run this establishment, have created a welcoming and warm atmosphere that sets the tone for a delightful meal. Our server, Jenny was incredibly sweet and attentive, enhancing our dining experience with her friendly demeanor and excellent recommendations. Now, let's talk about the food—it was simply spectacular. Every dish we tried was bursting with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. From the aromatic biryanis to the flavorful curries, each bite was a delight to the senses. The attention to detail in the presentation of the dishes was also commendable, adding to the overall dining ambiance.NEEM Indian Cuisine truly excels in delivering top-notch quality in both service and food. The combination of exquisite flavors, friendly service, and a beautiful atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine in Riverdale.Overall, I cannot recommend NEEM Indian Cuisine enough. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, this restaurant will exceed your expectations. It's a gem that deserves every bit of praise it receives.

After years of take out, my wife and I actually ate IN this time! Had the Bombay chicken (so good!!), the Chana Saag (wonderful) and the baked wings for an appetizer (always good!!). Had a great conversation with one of the (new) owners and found out how it's been a family owned and operated place for years, passing from one side of the family to another, but always maintaining a good menu, aromatic, spicy, and tasty food, and let's not forget terrific staff!!!Yes, oh yes, we will go back and dine in, and will continue to take out!

Love their different very hot selections of biryani and butter chicken! The food always comes on time on Uber eats and so tasty. Their green sauces on the side are yummy as well. Highly recommend!

This is the worst butter chicken dish ive ever had in my life. I cannot believe i paid 24 dollars to have this garbage delivered to me. This is also the first ever review ive ever posted about food in my life. Unbelievably horrible, just have to let others know!

4 stars is fair. The food here is delicious, and service is solid. Portion sizes though? Not amazing. I had the lunch special - beef curry and it was great. Extra bread will cost you extra.

Got the lamb biryani, chicken kurma, and masala fries. Lamb was tough with the biryani resembling nothing of what it should be (it had coconut, peas, and lacked any aromatics in the rice). Chicken kurma was also bland and watery. The masala fries, although boring, were the best thing we had because it's hard to mess that up. Service was very friendly.

I was excited about visiting this place. It was in my neighborhood, and it's been on my radar for a while. After having some curry from this thai restaurant I recently visited, I wanted to try some other curries from different cultures. So I took the opportunity to visit this place among the many Indian restaurants in my area. The restaurant is small but beautiful. I really love the decor of the place and how the tables are set up with its own decor, even the bar area is cute, with such a beautiful chandelier hanging from above. The customer service was ok, and because I wasn't dining in, I'm sure it would have been better had I stayed, but I was ordering to go. The guy who was assisting me did help with all of the questions I had, and after many questions, this is what I ordered.Appetizer- Poori & ShrimpEntree- Chicken Curry (Vindaloo) spicy Drink - Indian iced tea I have to say, I love me some spicy food, but that chicken curry was FIRE! I like spicy food with flavor. This was just too spicy for no reason, all that spice with no flavor. It was a disappointment. I will say I enjoyed the Poori and Shrimp, more of the Poori, I think the shrimp was overcooked and to small, and also from the pictures I viewed of Yelp, my Poori looked nothing like the previous Poori others may of have had. My iced tea was just ok, as well. It tasted like something I could have made at home. I probably should have gone with the coffee, but I really wanted to try the tea.So my overall opinion of the place is that it's OK. I'm not running to make a return, and I didn't like that the menu has a price for one thing, but you pay another because everything you buy from here is taxed. EVERYTHING! I'm not even sure if I want to give a thumbs up, but I will say I approve of a visit. Happy Yelping!

Neem is a really bad Indian restaurant. The food is dry. The sauces are yech. Nothing is fresh. Even the keylime pie dessert was measly, dry, and broken in two. I dont see how this lousy restaurant can survive. The problem is that Riverdale has a high percentage of Orthodox Jews who hardly go out to restaurants, and when they do only go to Kosher restaurants, which are not only expensive but awfully bad. So here we are in NYC, an alleged foodie town, but Riverdale is a veritable foodie desert. Oy Weh

Worst ever food I had in my life. Literally. Veg pulao was spoiled. Tandoori chicken was tasteless. Mutton curry was the worst. Will never be here

They missed the real soul of a restaurant...Taste of the food!It was beyond horrible and I just lost my appetite by seeing the food. The management really needs to work on the food taste and quality.
