This turkey bacon, egg, and cheese is one of the best I ever had in my life ! I honestly did not have any high expectations due to horrible experiences in the past stemming from Manhattan. But Bronx is representing excellent for their reputation. I will definitely recommend this to anyone if they are searching for a delicious sandwich and clean environment. The man at the cash register was respectful and courteous.

Best sandwiches in nyc hands down but expect prices to change every 6 months. Heros was 7$ and kept going up 1$. Now a hero is 10$ and if you want a small slice of avocado make it 12$ for a sandwich.

Isn’t the same place anymore, since Sal sold it. The new owner is only about money, I get it we all have to pay bills, but he is taking it to another level. Prices got up, i understand but the portions smaller and meat quality not same anymore. How can he explain that? You go there daily and buy the same sandwich , never same price even when you pay cash. Don’t go there, plenty of other Delis in Morris park. 20 years or costumer gone because of greed.
They barely give you any meat/ cheese on the chopped cheese. Disappointed ☹️ small place. Some food items that I purchased were outdated. Won’t be back. 2 stars cause we found parking across the street fairly easy.

Sal has sold out and gone up North but the workers like Shorty have stayed on with the new owners, prices have gone up, but the grill is still pumping out great hot eats, but stay away from the fries and deep fried stuff as the oil often looks like motor oil, at least walk over to the back and observe the color before you think about the fries, otherwise it's a great place for a hot or cold sandwich and a drink

After coming here for the 3rd time. decided to finally review this spot. They’re the real deal! Soo many food options but 2 that stand out to me are the chopped cheese & the chicken quesadilla. Chopped cheese was delicious from the meat, the roll it was on & the sauces they use . As for the quesadilla , I expected it to be good but not THAT good. The chicken was super tender & juicy & cooked well. Comes with lettuce, tomato, avocado & sour cream. I devoured it . Wishing I had one with me as I’m typing this. Tastes better than one you'd get at a Mexican restaurant & a pretty good price . My fav deli in the Bronx by a landslide
