Best sandwiches in nyc hands down but expect prices to change every 6 months. Heros was 7$ and kept going up 1$. Now a hero is 10$ and if you want a small slice of avocado make it 12$ for a sandwich.
Sal has sold out and gone up North but the workers like Shorty have stayed on with the new owners, prices have gone up, but the grill is still pumping out great hot eats, but stay away from the fries and deep fried stuff as the oil often looks like motor oil, at least walk over to the back and observe the color before you think about the fries, otherwise it's a great place for a hot or cold sandwich and a drink
After coming here for the 3rd time. decided to finally review this spot. They’re the real deal! Soo many food options but 2 that stand out to me are the chopped cheese & the chicken quesadilla. Chopped cheese was delicious from the meat, the roll it was on & the sauces they use . As for the quesadilla , I expected it to be good but not THAT good.
