There is this one woman there that always deter me from going inside. She is so rude. The cashier guys are lovely and the food overall is good. But her attitude makes it hard to give the restaurant the best ratings. Even my fellow Ghanaian friends says the same about her. She changes the prices of the meals based on her attitude that day. So sad because I am forced to go to Accra Town. They are more friendlier.

Horrible service!!! Acted like they didn’t want to greet or serve us!! Paid 20 a plate and we got the bottom of the pot burned rice!!! I use to like them back in the day so I figured I would go back I had a taste for some African food… but I will for sure never go back and I hope they do better on their customer service and food but they won’t get my money anymore

🍽️ Papaye – A Bronx staple that never misses on flavor.
I’ve been coming to Papaye for years—since living in the Bronx—and it’s truly a household name in the community. The food has always held it down, especially the kebabs, which are still one of my go-to orders whenever I’m back in the city.
The service has improved over time, but there’s still room for more warmth and enthusiasm. That extra effort would elevate the customer experience, but it seems like they know their food speaks for itself—and honestly, it does.
Flavors are solid, portions are generous, and it’s one of those spots that stays real to its roots. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

Once is stated online it opens at 12 at least is respectful to open for us to sit down and wait rather than standing out in the cold or sun.
Delicious food! Enough said!

Thought it was popeyes but the food was good
Okay soup, poor quality swallow. The swallow was dripping in liquid, it was too sticky and not was not beaten properly. The soup is okay, thick. The meat however is overdone.
Nice place to eat
Restaurantji Recommends
I wish I could give it a zero for real, their customer service is very bad and rude.
Food not good… I bought fufu and soup.. the soup is full of ginger and pepper( no taste)
The soup taste awful… very very poor customer service too…the guy over there is something else I regret going there
Eat tasteless food at your own risk
Food is't cooked well. terrible customer service. no respect at all I wouldn't eat here ever don't waste your time and money because I already did that for you
Literally the worst experience ive ever had at a restaurant ever. The staff is rude and the owner is worse. So disrepectful to the customers, especially if you dont speak their native languange. I thought the food would make up for my experience but it did not. I woudn’t reccomend i shouldve listened to my friends and went to the one on 167!
Keep on getting better any day I come. Got their Omotuo this time around and the palmnut was banging.
