There is this one woman there that always deter me from going inside. She is so rude. The cashier guys are lovely and the food overall is good. But her attitude makes it hard to give the restaurant the best ratings. Even my fellow Ghanaian friends says the same about her. She changes the prices of the meals based on her attitude that day. So sad because I am forced to go to Accra Town. They are more friendlier.

As a first-gen Ghanaian American, I've always craved the authentic flavors of my parents' homeland. Papaye African Restaurant in the Bronx is a culinary haven that transports me straight to Ghana! The aromas, the spices, the tender meat... every bite is a taste of nostalgia and cultural pride.
